In a time of despair it seems fitting that people are reaching out for other things to focus on rather than war and the atrocities that are being committed by colonialist interests. The topics are Israel and a radio sports talk host that was held in high regard by the Los Angeles Lakers and their former great player Magic Johnson. SPORTS RULES THE ROOST

What a difference a presence makes. Japanese sensation Shohei Ohtani is changing the face of Major League Baseball with his astonishing feats and Los Angeles Angels record that he is smashing. The two way, pitching and batting marvel is showing how his talents are a shining light on the Angels roster. What he accomplished last season in braking franchise record has carried over to an interest in him as our story regarding him being a two way player and comparing him to Babe Ruth who also was a tremendous two way player, has bolted him on to the NR TOP 10 charts in taking the 2nd position.

Edward Snowden's exposure of the illegal war involvement buy the US government's military and its political arm remains in the top spot. In his You Tube interview with Joe Rogan of UFC analyst fame continues to be of interest to our readers. Snowden did two interviews with Rogan that took place a year apart. In their 2nd discussion Snowden elaborated on the illegal spying of the US government on its citizens.

If there was ever a man that impacted a society it was Dr Beat Richner. Richner gave free health care to Cambodian children and mothers that were giving birth. When we first approached Richner in 2002 about doing an interview regarding his work he invited us to come to his cello concert in Siem Reap. At that time sitting next to me was an American man from Chicago who made a remark about Richner� "He gave his life for this."

Richner did just that as he passed away in September of 2018 at the age of 71 succumbing to an undefined illness. That story Remembering Dr Beat Richner takes the 4th position.

The 5th spot is an old story that points out the problems with Israel that continues today. We pointed out why Israel exists. While Israel keeps selling this overdone sad old story about the Jews being murdered in the Holocaust we researched the real reason behind it being colonialism.

The Holocaust occurred more than 15 years after the British Mandate of 1922 the Brits gave themselves the authority to take the nation under their control and make it a state for the Jewish people. Give the source, there were as many non Jewish people murdered in the Holocaust as Jews. This is a point not well taken by those that promote the narrative of the Jews have the right to take Palestine as their won and Persecute the Arab residents of Palestine. We questioned, IS ISRAEL THE ROOT TO ALL EVIL?

In our take of the situation we point out that the CNN News (?) channel functions as the voice of Israel with the majority Jewish crew. They never report the beatings and murders of the Arabs that they are persecuting that they refer to as Arab Sand Niggers.

What they focus on is anything that is aggressive by the Palestinians who throw stones and Israeli military with a full suite of body armor that are not happy about being persecuted in their own land. When the migration process began there was only as 10% Jewish population in the then state of 500,000 people.

From that time the British trained the Jews to be a military force. Since that time the Jews have recruited Jews from around the world to come their and be give citizenship providing they do two years of military service. Their primary objective is to beat down and control the Arabs whose land, homes and businesses they are stealing.

Never was racism so blatantly displayed as it was when we began covering sports. The press box of between 200-300 people was ALL WHITE! At that time top be given the assignment to cover sports was a high priority and very political. Till this day some of these racists continue to have a huge presence on the airwaves.

What we covered was an individual who was highly praised by the LA Lakers and Magic Johnson being an outright racist. The revelation was when he did an entire sports talks show beating down an LA Dodger player who was and is Japanese. The berated him note being able to speak English and questioned his viability to be on the squad.

Racism is a hot topic today as it is being tackled since there are more people of color in on air and sports reporting positions. With the NBA and NFL being 75% of its players being people of color it is a logical decision to have people that the can more closely relate to and not be discredited as this so call journalist did. That story resonates; it was published in 1998 and currently returned to rock the 7th position.

The talented tennis player Emma Raducanu retains the # 8 spot.

The Lakers Abortion takes the 9th position. It details the mismanagement of the team by its owner who refer to her boy toys and members of the Lakers family. Well her dysfunctional family finished out of the playoffs. It was only the third time for its star Lebron James not to be in the playoffs in his career. Two of those experiences occurred during his now four year stint as a Laker.

Topping off the list at number 10 is an experience with NFL Hall of Fame players Frank Gifford. We caught up with Gifford when he was an analyst for the NFL's Monday Night Football telecast at a press conference. We asked if he would tell us about his thoughts of being knocked unconscious during a game with the Philadelphia Eagles by Chick Bednarik.

Gifford was carried out on a stretcher and was though to be dead. He didn't play the following season and returned a year after. He changed his position from a running back to a receiver. The topic was gruesome and not a pleasant memory for him. The point being he related his perspective to the incident and that was the ticked for us being involved in covering sports. Why?
