POV 19 - (Point of View) Part 2 - CNN'S BIASED REPORTING

CNN should be more careful and responsible with their alarming reports. It would be more appropriate to check out the facts carefully before interrupting programming and alarming the public. CNN founder Ted Turner wrote a book titled 'Lead Follow Or Get Out of The Way.' It's time for CNN to get out of the way of the truth

CNN - ISRAEL'S MOUTHPIECE

When CNN makes a report on Israel and the problems in the Middle East the reports are largely done by Jews, many whose family history relating to having experienced the Holocaust is not revealed. It's a situation that is tantamount to a Klu Klux Klan dragon also being a judge of a trail of a white Klan member killing a black man. It's a no brainer that the result would be to protect the fellow Klan member and judge him as not guilty.

The question is why doesn't CNN report the continued land grabbing and theft and evictions of Palestinians from their homes so they can create more Israeli settlements? The answer is CNN is BIASED and supports Israel.

CNN is so sensitive in protecting the abusive actions of Israel that CNN is trigger happy quick to report anything that occurs there. Their compassion for Israel raises the question why is there such a strong link from the Israeli state of soldiers to the CNN newsroom.

We accidentally came across a report we made in 2004 regarding CNN's protective policy towards Israel in alarming the public, in an effort to gain sympathy, that Israel was being attacked.

In our Sports Notes report from January 2004 we noted: This month the ultimate disruption came when (a sports news) show was interrupted with a breaking news bulletin that a bomb had exploded on a bus in Israel. After several minutes of a repetitious exaggerated report of what they THOUGHT HAPPENED they returned to sports news programming. Five minutes later CNN BREAKING NEWS interrupted again. During that intervention they repeated several times what they had already reported earlier. At the end of the half hour show they interrupted again and reported that it was ONLY a sonic boom (and not a bomb).

The biased reporting by CNN is perfectly clear. The attrition of numerous reporters speaks volumes. Either you see it their way or you are told to take the highway. Ethics and accurate reporting take a back seat to the messages CNN prefer to convey to the public. They are in the sell (Israel propaganda) business not... reporting the truth.

Former CNN investigative journalist Amber Lyon is known for her work reporting human rights abuses against pro-democracy protesters in Bahrain, and police brutality against protesters in the United States.

In March 2013, a report from the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency said the "Slovak main news website" reported Lyon claiming to have received orders from CNN to report selectively and falsely in order to sway public opinion in favor of direct American aggression against Iran and Syria, and that this was common practice at CNN. CNN later severed ties with Lyon. (More about Lyon).

CNN has been the subject of allegations of liberal bias. Writer Eric Alterman has noted that many critics [weasel words] on the left view CNN as no more or less biased than most other corporate-run journalism, supporting business interests of its parent company and sponsors, and refusing to question official sources or present perspectives of leftist critics. Accuracy in Media and Media Research Center (MRC) have claimed that CNN's reporting contains liberal editorializing within news stories as well as omission of important facts.

Wolf Blitzer

* In November 1989 during a University panel CNN personality Wolf Blitzer declared his pro-Israel views on the Middle East conflict. "

In September 2005, during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, CNN's Wolf Blitzer, on air, said of those remaining in New Orleans, "so many of these people, almost all of them that we see, are so poor and they are so black."

During the Boston Bombings Blitzer also stated that authorities were looking for a black man as being the bomber. It was another Blitzer tactic to instill fear in the public in making a racist statement.

For eight days in April 2013 Blitzer and CNN raged on throughout his one hour program about the supposed threat by North Korea to make missile attacks on America, Japan and South Korea without PROOF. Everything reported was speculative and most likely a lie. CNN and Blitzer make statements preceded by what US officials say. CNN stayed with this raging Jew's bad information the entire time which indicates that this false report was on CNN's agenda.

Rick Sanchez firing

After Rick Sanchez talked of Jewish ownership of American media outlets, and harshly criticized Jon Stewart on a radio show, CNN said they had fired him. "Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company. We thank Rick for his years of service and wish him well."

Octavia Nasr firing

Chief Middle Eastern correspondent Octavia Nasr was fired after a tweet saying she was "Sad to hear of the passing of Sayyed Mohammed Hussein Fadlallah... One of Hezbollah's giants I respect[ed] a lot." Parisa Khosravi, the senior vice president for CNN International, said she spoke with Nasr and "we have decided that she will be leaving the company." His reason for her removal was given as "As you know, her tweet over the weekend created a wide reaction. As she has stated in her blog on CNN.com, she fully accepts that she should not have made such a simplistic comment without any context whatsoever. However, at this point, we believe that her credibility in her position as senior editor for Middle Eastern affairs has been compromised going forward."

Robert Fisk criticized CNN for the firing saying "Poor old CNN goes on getting more cowardly by the hour. That's why no one cares about it any more." According to a July 2010 (Iranian-run) Press TV poll, nearly two-thirds (65.99%) of the respondents described CNN's recent move to sack Nasr as "an instance of intellectual terrorism reflecting the influence of Zionists on mainstream Western media outlets".

When I was in the Beijing airport I was shocked to see that CNN was being aired on TV in the facility's waiting room. Given that CNN has very little good to say about China it's an absurd situation that CNN reports on how much censorship there is in China but the Chinese government still permits CNN to air there. If it's a contradiction you're looking for it is CNN.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir once stated that via attrition the displaced future generations of Palestinian children would forget that there was a Palestine. It was a callous statement and... SHE WAS WRONG.
