DO BLACK NBA PLAYERS SUPPORT ISRAEL'S APARTHEID & MURDERS?

Last month Jewish billionaire Sheldon Adelson threatened that if you boycott Israel see what happens. It was a threat the made with fellow Jewish billionaire Haim Saban which was telecast on the news. Adelson is making a concentrated effort to deflect the boycott Israel activist's movement as he supplied his Boeing 747 jet airplane to transport NBA player and Israeli Omar Casspi and other NBA players to Israel.

The 81-year-old Adelson is the chairman and chief executive officer of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and is the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo and Convention Center. He also owns the Israeli daily newspaper Israel HaYom. Adelson, a lifelong donor and philanthropist to a variety of causes, founded with his wife's initiative the Adelson Foundation.

As of June 2015, Adelson was listed by Forbes as having a fortune of $31.4 billion, and as the 18th richest person in the world. Adelson is also a major contributor to Republican Party candidates, which has resulted in his gaining significant influence within the party.

The trip is part of a Casspi led effort to fight the international movement to boycott Israel. Joining Casspi are fellow Kings players DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay and Caron Butler, as well as other NBA notables Chandler Parsons, Tyreke Evans, Iman Shumpert and newly signed Washington Wizard Alan Anderson. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has approved of the trip, according to the Jewish Press.

The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement (BDS Movement) is a global campaign attempting to increase economic and political pressure on Israel to comply with the stated goals of the movement: the end of Israeli occupation and colonization of Palestinian land, full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and respect for the right of return of Palestinian refugees.

The Palestinian BDS National Committee noted, "The call urges various forms of boycott against Israel until it meets its obligations under international law by: Ending its occupation and colonization of all Arab lands occupied in June 1967 and dismantling the Wall; Recognizing the fundamental rights of the Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel to full equality; and Respecting, protecting and promoting the rights of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes and properties as stipulated in UN Resolution 194."

The 27-year-old Casspi was drafted 23rd overall in the 2009 NBA draft by the Sacramento Kings, making him the first Israeli to be selected in the first round of an NBA draft. With his Kings debut in 2009, Casspi became the first Israeli to play in an NBA game.

The Cleveland Cavaliers traded for him in June 2011. He signed with the Houston Rockets in July 2013. In July 2014, Casspi was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of a three-team trade, but was later waived. He then returned to Sacramento prior to the 2014-15 season. He has a solid history as a coming off the bench player with career averages of 7.9 ppg and 2.9 rpg. In 20.8 minutes a game of playing time. A regulation game is 48 minutes in length.

What is peculiar about this story is that all of the players involved are BLACK except Casspi and Chandler thus it raises the question why are black players basically supporting a state that abuses people of color, Arabs and practices apartheid?

A case in point was made in the hit television series Empire that was the 5th most viewed show in America last season, its first. It's about a black family that owns a successful record company that made them rich.

In one episode the wife and co-founder of the company got into a taxi cab that was driven by an Arab. She was in a temperamental mood and he responded to her instructions referring to her as YOU PEOPLE. She curtly replied, "What do you mean by YOU PEOPLE… YOU BLACK LIKE ME."

It's that scenario that makes the involvement of black NBA players supporting a cause that is diametrically opposed to what the black experience is all about as blacks have been abused for centuries by being kidnapped in Africa and brought to America and abused as slaves to earn money for the white man. In essence these black NBA players are indirectly supporting racism since the Arab blood line is closer to being black rather than being white.

Casspi is Jewish, was born in Holon, Israel, and grew up in Yavne. He is the son of Shimon and Ilana. Both of Casspi's parents are Israeli-born and of Moroccan Jewish heritage.

In Israel the players will take part in two events with Israeli basketball teams McCabe Tel Aviv and Hapoel Jerusalem. The players are also planning to take part in a number of philanthropic events in Israel, including some organized by the league-sponsored NBA Cares.

Let's be clear… there is nothing wrong being Jewish since it is a faith that practices PEACE. There is everything wrong with being an Israeli ZIONIST that practice murder, theft, occupation, apartheid, land grabbing and defying international laws.
