IS ALL FAIR IN LOVE & WAR?

This is it!!! The Amazing Race finals will be telecast tonight Monday December 7 in Southeast Asia on the AXN Network. This has been one of the most boring races ever in the series but there is an added dimension to this final, that being who will win the good guys or the bad guys. If it's ethics and integrity that you're looking for it's hard to find on the Amazing race. If it's all's fair in love and war then your cup will runneth over.

The bad guys are the two openly gay brothers Sam & Dan who have lied and cheated throughout the competition. In the last episode they betrayed the Globetrotters whom they agreed to have an alliance with. In a previous episode they stole a taxi from Brian and his wife and former Miss America Erika. This is where the problem is with their lack of integrity and calls into question the ethics of the Amazing Race.

The brothers walked out on the Globetrotters on a Roadblock where one team member entered the museum and search among several hundred ringing telephones for the five that had a person on the other end of the line. A voice from each phone would give the team member one letter to the word "FRANZ"-a reference to Franz Kafka. After obtaining all five letters, the team member had to fill out a form with several biographical questions and attempt to unscramble the five letters to form his name. If they were correct, the inspector would hand them their next clue. When the brother found the right answer he walked away from Big Easy and said all I'll tell you is the firs t letter is an F.

They lied when they said on camera that they justified abandoning the Globetrotters when they agreed to share their findings in a clue. They defamed the Globetrotters by saying that they would cut your throat. Throughout the race the Globetrotters proved to be honorable men. In the world of chicken $#!t this is it and the brothers exemplified that. In previous races teams have been given penalties for violations yet STEALING for some strange reason is not considered a violation. This is worthy of a four hour penalty. The fact that the Amazing race permits such conduct sends the wrong message to the viewing public that it's all right to steal. If Bernie Madoff wasn't in jail would he be a prime contestant for the program?

The most successful team remaining in the race is the dating couple Meghan & Cheyne who have won six of the 11 legs of the race. It's Meghan who is the stronger of the two with her brains and surprisingly her brawn as who takes on many of the physical challenges. Cheyne has a sneaky streak about him as he is another who betrayed the Globetrotters after they formed an alliance to help each other.

Sam and Dan have finished first twice and second four times during the 11 legs of the race. Brian and Erika have never won a leg and their best is one second place and three third place finishes.

If fair play (SORRY FIFA) has anything to do with who should win the race it should be Brian and Erika as they have never lied cheated or stolen throughout the competition. Megahn and Cheyne are the favorites given their success and talent but the deceitful brothers should have been sent home long ago.

The Amazing Race producers should seriously consider adding to the rules a penalty for STEALING TAXIS if not their credibility is on the downside.

The final pit stop and the end of the race will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. The question is whomever wins the race how much of their million dollar winnings will they leave on the Vegas gambling tables?
