WHAT'S IN THE NEWS?

In a time when it seems that Israel is running the US government and behind most of all of the problems of the world US President Barack Obama appointed Chuck Hagel a former Senator from of Nebraska Republican to become the nations next Secretary of Defense. Many government officials are up in arms about the decision that must be approved by the US senate.

The haggle over Hagel is in part that he once made a statement complaining about the Jewish lobbyists in Washington. As former Secretary of State Colin Powell who was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Gulf War stated on Meet the Press that Hagel misspoke and noted that there was a strong Israeli lobby present in the nations capitol Washington, D.C.

That point is well taken as we have pointed out in the past tat there is a major difference between a Jew who practices a faith and an Israeli that is trained to kill and be racist towards the Arabs whose land they invaded in 1948 and stole with the backing of the United Nations and the US government. This support by the UN and USA is believed by many Israel's role in the region is to protect Western oil company interests and to keep the Suez Canal open to maintain a free flow of oil through the inland waterway.

Although Hagel has served in the military and was wounded in the Vietnam/American War he is not a pro war advocate as are many in the Republican Party with strong Israeli and big business leanings. The outrage displayed regarding Hagel's appointment does more to show how strong Israel is represented in Washington. It indicates that the US government supports murder, invasion and occupation of Arab land to serve the US business interests in the region.

Hagel is strong enough to say what's on his mind that conflicts with those in government that have sold out the American people resulting in the deaths of US troops defending the wrongdoing of the murdering Israeli government that claim they want to live in peace which contradicts the manner in which they came.

The fact that Hagel is strong enough to demonstrate his independent thinking, point of view and up front stance is what the American government needs to right its current wrong image. America needs a Secretary of Defense that can be strong enough to stand up for what is right and not bend to Israel's threatening might or financial influence.

RT NEWS LOST THE PLOT

In the past we have recommended Russia's RT New Network for an alternative insight of news coverage. They actually do the job and cover the news from AROUND THE WORLD not glorify the US government as does CNN. They report on the shortcomings of CNN who will not telecast reports filed by their reporters in the field pointing out the atrocities in Bahrain and other US aligned countries in the Middle East which are primarily under a monarch system.

Since our recommendation RT has lost the plot and their best news presenter Karen Terrarachi, an American is no longer on the air. She was the best straight forward news presenter on RT. In her place they have gone the route of the US networks with impudent, RUDE, IN YOUR FACE, LOUD news presenters. The RT news content is OK but the new presenters primarily from America have gone away from straight forward news reporting to loud ranting in the mold of America's right winged CNN and Fox News Networks.

News is supposed to be impartial but CNN and FOX are not as they promote agenda's. RT has taken a ranting stance regarding America's shortcomings which is worthy but the network has started to take up the CNN posture of overdoing a subject by being overbearing.

We now recommend watching their point of view and content of their news reports and then turn the channel when they go to their ranting presenters. RT news can give the viewer a more balanced idea of what is really going on in the world as opposed to championing Israel and the USA's murdering atrocities around the world in the name of democracy with the underlying reason being that they want the countries OIL which they are invading... for the sake of democracy of course. You will never see their type of stories on CNN or FOX.

Members of the US government have noticed the changes in news coverage resulting in creating paranoia. Some government officials note that Russia Today is one of several international channels which have challenged the United States media which previously dominated global news coverage.

In 2010 Walter Isaacson, Chairman of the U.S. Government's Broadcasting Board of Governors (which runs Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, and Radio Free Asia), called for more money for the programs because "We can't allow ourselves to be out-communicated by our enemies," mentioning specifically Russia Today, Iran's Press TV and China's China Central Television ("CCTV") in the next sentence.

He later explained he actually was referring to "enemies" in Afghanistan, not the nations he mentioned. In 2011 Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stated that the United States was "losing the information war" abroad to foreign channels like Russia Today, Al Jazeera, and China Central Television and that they are supplanting the Voice of America.

The difference between the US news networks Fox News and CNN is the International news networks are focused on reporting on the truth with stories the US networks won't dare cover as they have an agenda to sell US government dogma. The days of true PROFESSIONAL news reporting in the mold of Chet Huntley, David Brinkley, and Walter Cronkite are sadly over. It's apparent that news networks prefer to hire rude, loud in your face young presenters for unknown reasons. Apparently sensationalism, loud and being confrontational is the trend for the new breed of news presenters.

The International RT network covers all the news with a more unbiased point of view including reporting on how the US supports monarchy led nations in the Middle East for strategic military base locations as well as access to their OIL. The US government supported those rulers that they eventually took down as in Iraq, Libya, Egypt and other nations in the region in paying the rulers over a billion dollars a year to keep order in their countries for the sake of access to their oil and to protect Israel's sovereignty. After the people in those nations revolted and their leaders lost control of the country America abandoned their support. This is the type of perspective on a story that you will never see on CNN or FOX News.
