BIG BRO CHOKING ITSELF TO DEATH

As they say 'Too many cooks spoil the broth.' That is becoming the case with Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 that is catching the Dream Academy disease of over production cluttered with too many ideas.

As we noted on our Saturday Front Page that Megan Young 17, was nominated for eviction. The public voted overwhelmingly in her favor to remain as she took 87.89% of the votes.

Evicted were the 2 for 1 26K girls on the Deal Or No Deal TV show duo Marylaine and Jen. One of the new of the cluttered rules is that they entered the house with the condition that they were one. If one was nominated for eviction then the other was automatically nominated.

Marylaine ran into trouble by wearing the clothes of Mariel Rodrizuez without her permission. Punishment followed that included Jen. They served out their sentence in the new this year in house jail. During that time Jen let Marylaine know that she was not happy about the situation. The result being that the viewing/voting audience gave them only 12.11% of the vote making them they first evictees of this seasons BIG BRO.

But here's the biggest problem in the many changes implemented for this season's series. A contest was held with the winner being named the Head of the Household aka HOH. That gave them immunity from eviction and special privileges. It also gave that person the right to nominate someone for eviction.

Ethel won the contest. She is a sexpot comedian who fancies the men. She has come on to several during the show. This chemistry sets up a catfight situation and it happened as she selected Megan again for eviction.

The show is turning into a nightmare of cramming as many ideas as they can into the series. Viewers can also suggest punishments that can be implemented into the show.

The housemates also nominate someone for eviction by giving a housemate one or two points depending on the degree of their problem with the housemate.

Some of the comments made when they nominated someone were:

1. Inconsiderate

2. Said they were going to do something but didn't do it.

3. Taking something that was not theirs without permission.

4. Not dependable

Should the overproducing of this show continue it could turn into an agony to watch. In addition this week the show went on air on time only once with some programs starting as much as 20 minutes late. Nuff said…..

FOOTBALL’S HIDDEN STORY
