FEAR FACTOR HOST FIGHTS OFF CHANGELING CONTESTANTS

JOE ROGAN - IS THE MAN

Due to too much repetitive Fear Factor stunts such as eating insects and rotten whatever to me the show became stale. One thing that makes the show work is the talent of host Joe Rogan.

On a show televised two weeks ago Rogan topped any stunt I've ever seen on Fear Factor or any other reality show. Rogan had to put into play what he is all about and defend himself against an attacking contestant who assaulted the Fear Factor host. In the world of ooohhhh my's this wins the Oh My! Award.

This season the show has made some changes but thankfully Rogan is not one of them. The biggest change is doing a series of shows that continue with the same cast of contestants consisting of couples (until eliminated) for two or three weeks.

In August the GEEKS were on for two weeks. For those that aren't familiar with the word it means they are very intelligent.

In a series Currently airing are couples that are friends from the reality shows American Idol, Survivor, Amazing Race, The Apprentice and The Real World.

One couple that appeared in the Amazing Race has a history of arguing on camera. The male usually yells at his female mate and they carry on until she has been brought to tears.

They were great competitors so whatever floats ones boat the arguing seemed to work for them as they were in the Amazing almost to the end. But… on this Fear Factor show the raging couple continued to live up to their profile and argue for motivational reasons or not.

On one stunt the girl had to crawl into a tunnel that was just large enough to crawl into and retrieve a human's skeleton head that was placed at the tail end of an ALIGATOR that was facing forward.

While crawling on her stomach the alligator started to turn around as she reached forward to grab the skeleton head. SHE FREAKED OUT!!! She went hysterical and started crawling backwards out of the tunnel screaming, "he turned around."

Her male mate kept yelling at her to go back and get the skeleton or they would lose the contest.

As a means of strategy to distract them a man on another team yelled out that the girl was a failure. It worked and she quit and they went back to the starting point where the other contestants and Joe Rogan were.

She then went towards the contestant that was razing her and hit him in the chest thus assaulting him on INTERNATIONAL TV.

Rogan yells out hey you can't assault contestants on our show.

In a rage her mate then went after Rogan to defend his lady's honor and assaulted Rogan.

NOW HERE'S THE DRIFT - DEAL - SITUATION.

Rogan was born in Newark, New Jersey and then moved to Boston, Massachusetts where he was raised.

For those of us that are familiar with those cities in the USA know that they aren't Disneyland and the crime that goes on there would make Cambodia look like a candy store.

With that background Rogan qualifies to be someone to be reckoned with particularly from an opponent that appears to have everything, money, nice cars and house and a soft background.

To defend himself Rogan put somewhat of a martial arts headlock on the enraged contestant to get him under control.

From the footage that was televised the two contestants were sent off and the show went on. I'D LIKE TO SEE THE FOOTAGE THAT WAS EDITED OUT.

What those contestants knew or not is that Rogan is qualified in Martial Arts. He also is a commentator and co-host of the UFC (Ultimate Fighting) competition that is televised in Southeast Asia on the Sports channel.

Folks… this was real and of all of the Fear Factor challenges this stunt topped them all.

But that raises a question… WHO IS JOE ROGAN??? COMING ON NEXT VIDEO BEAT… THE ANSWER

NOTES:

The reality show contestants are on for the third week in a row this week. Tune in and perhaps they will show a video clip of this incident.

FEAR FACTOR IS TELEVISED in Southeast Asia on the AXN action channel Thursday nights at 7pm Thailand - Cambodia time and at 8pm Singapore - Hong Kong time and repeats on Sunday at 6pm Thailand - Cambodia time and 8pm Singapore - Hong Kong time.

ULTIMATE FIGHTER FINAL

The final of the Ultimate Fighting reality show 'Ultimate Fighter' will be televised Monday September 4th at 6:30pm Thailand and Cambodia time and 7:30pm Singapore and Hong Kong. It repeats later that evening around 11:30pm. AGAIN CHECK YOUR LOCAL LISTINGS.

Ultimate Fighting is mixed martial arts; boxing and wrestling that allow elbows.

The participants have been living together in a house for several months. When one lost they went home. The two that survive from the two weight divisions will win a six-figure contract to fight in the UFC. Joe Rogan is not on this show.

The final TV show is a double header of the shows participants and also a fight between two of the top fighters in Ultimate fighting including Ken Shamrock.
