RINGO's ROCK & ROLL IS HERE TO STAY

To date, Ringo Starr has toured with ten versions of his All-Starr Band, with an 11th group starting in the Summer of 2010, where "everybody on stage is a star in their own right." Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band is a concept that was created by producer David Fishof. The band has consistently toured for two decades, and, in similar fashion to Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, rotates its lineup depending on the musicians' projects at a given time. At an All-Starr Band concert Ringo will perform some of his solo and Beatles songs and then each band member will take turns performing a hit from their own career.

Starr put together his first All-Star band in 1989 that featured Joe Walsh, guitar, piano, vocals, Nils Lofgren guitar, accordion, vocals, Dr. John keyboards, vocals, Billy Preston - keyboards, vocals, Rick Danko - bass, vocals Levon Helm drums, vocals, Jim Keltner drums, Clarence Clemons saxophone, tambourine, vocals and Garth Hudson accordion (two concerts).
