NEW YORK, NY USA -- (BUSINESS WIRE)

Wednesday, May 01, 2019

FOX News Channel (FNC) has named Jedediah Bila co-host of FOX & Friends Weekend (Saturdays & Sundays 6-10AM/ET), announced Lauren Petterson, Senior Vice President of Morning Programming & Talent Development for the network. Bila, who has filled in on the program as a guest co-host, made her official debut as a permanent co-host on Saturday, April 27th.

In making the announcement, Petterson said, “Jedediah’s thoughtful analysis and endearing personality have cultivated a connection with our audience that has grown exponentially over time. We are confident that she will make an excellent addition to the FOX & Friends family.”

Bila added, “The opportunity to co-host a program within the FOX & Friends franchise is truly an incredible milestone in my career. I am really excited to build an even stronger relationship with FNC’s loyal viewers and to spend weekends doing great work with an amazing team.”

In her new role, Bila will join co-host Pete Hegseth and a rotating third co-host to helm the weekend version of the number one rated morning show in cable news. Bila first joined FNC as a contributor in 2013, appearing regularly on FNC’s top-rated ensemble shows Outnumbered (weekdays 12-1PM/ET) and The Five (weekdays 5-6PM/ET), where she provided analysis on the top news stories, controversies and issues of the day.

Prior to re-joining FNC as a contributor in 2018, Bila served as co-host of ABC’s The View, for the 2017-2018 season where she interviewed many influential figures across politics and culture, including former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Vice President Joe Biden, reality television star Kim Kardashian and Senator Bernie Sanders. In July 2017, Bila secured an exclusive interview with embattled Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller ahead of her 366-day prison sentence for a Lifetime special entitled, Abby Tells All.
