When something falls off the face of the earth logic would have it that something is wrong. Google either was tampered with or a made a major decision that makes a negative impression of their integrity

WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?

In Asia when one criticizes or voices an opinion it could result in jail time as it does in Thailand and Cambodia's in ninterpretation of their democracy as well as China where a journalist that helped design the Birds Nest stadium for the most recent Olympic Games was detained for being a vocal crtic of the government.

After our criticism of those who do business for Yao Ming resulted in Google (Hong Kong) eliminated our link from the entire 1.3 BILLION national radio listings. For years we have maintained a first page position.

It's a ranking that we've maintained since Google rated us number one when there were just 500 national radio's cataloged. Two reasons for that result are we were on the Internet before Google was created. The other being at that time Google had more integrity as they listed only national radio's and before they started TO SELL spots for the more favored higher positions.

Now if you type in national radio in your search there are 4-5 listings for New Zealand. We don't claim to be that bright but in American grade schools they teach students the alphabetical order. The letter A comes before E. When you search in a legitimate library when the same letter is at the beginning of a word is the same you go to the second letter for the proper filing positions. Obviously Google failed to stay in school long enough to learn those lessons. It's about the money INTEGRITY apparently doesn't FACTOR into the equation.

This lack of integrity surfaced after our Yao Ming story brought to our attention those who may have probable cause to interfere. The most obvious are those involved in the result. In Asia the VIP (very andimportant or ignorant people) or organizations game is played.

From our research those people and organizations of interest include Ming's PR representatives, NBA Asia reps, the Chinese government and Google (Hong Kong). The questions then arises which of these suspects had the influence of Google (Hong Kong) or did Google do it on their own?

A search on July 27th revealed that on an ALL ENGLISH Google results search page for national radio the Chinese National Radio was in our previous spot and was the ONLY LISTING ON THE PAGE WRITTEN IN CHINESE. A copy of this.page was made.

After contacting a former business associate who currently owns a company in China he noted that will all change when you leave China. He added that China controls the Internet.

The following day our listing reappeared on the second page in the 11th position. New Zealand Radio had FIVE LISTINGS on the FIRST PAGE. That raises the question how many positions does one buy or deserve on a page that is not named NATIONAL.

Deeper into the NBA stories that we've covered over the years an excessive amount attention was paid to out NBA MAX section which are copies of our NBA columns published in the French language that dates back to when Magic Johnson was permitted to play on the 1992 Olympic Dream Team after he retired from the NBA when it was disclosed that he had contracted HIV and he retired from the league.

The other story that has consistently gained attention was the story NBA Trivia featuring Kobe Bryant. The biggest surprise was a story LAKERS DIE-NASTY that jumped up the charts that was published in May of 1999... 12 years ago! More significantly that was a FOUR PART story. Part 4 was the issue that gained the most attention. What it pointed out was KOBE BRYANT & THE LAKERS ARROGANCE.

The Lakers arrogance is widely known but ignored as they are the leagues darling franchise. The subject matter of that piece pointed out former NBA and former Lakers superstar WiIt Chamberlain's point of view on Kobe Bryant's role with the team. He also noted that his former Lakers teammate Jerry "Zeke from Cabin Creek" West never understood the street language Chamberlain and then teammate Elgin Baylor engaged in.

More significantly the story notes that then and still now Lakers publicist John Black cheated in padding the assists stats for then Lakers guard Nick Van Excel. Black was fined by the league for that offence. Years on Black remains at his post with the Lakers.

Being that this is the last day of the month of July we are publishing the results we took on July 25th after breaking through the apparent block and elimination of our listings.
