Video Beat - Part 2 - DeANDRE BRACKENSICK is SACKED on AMERICAN IDOL

Talent is not an issue in this seasons American Idol as judge Jennifer Lopez's promotion of the pretty boys is saving their bacon while more talented singers are being eliminated. THIS SEASON IS ABOUT THE JUDGES PROMOTING THEMSELVES AND CERTAIN TALENT - Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh were the other two contestants in the bottom three - The ratings are dropping and the show has become boring - Recommended TV Listings

APPARENTLY THE FIX IS IN

The writing is on the wall that those that vote for American Idol know nothing about talent and plenty about testing and gossip. DeAndre Brackensick was the latest causality of the no nothing voters as he was eliminated in the 8th position.

The 17 year-old singer form San Jose, California was a wild card survivor who has only been in the bottom three one other time during the six weeks of competition. He was the second youngest competitor in the competition with 16-year-old Jessica Sanchez being younger. This week was the fatal blow as he wasn't saved by the judges who apparently are holding on to the valued save apparently just in case their darling Phillip (no voice) Phillps needs it. Sorry about keeping it real but no voice is no voice and growling is growling.

Brackensick has been one of the most improved over the weeks with his falsetto voice somewhat like Phillip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire fame. At the beginning we picked Brackensick in the bottom five of our most favorite voices list. Given his improvement at this point we would have rated him in the middle replacing Shannon Magrane.

The most puzzling thing about this season show is how much the judges have to say in influencing voters. They do more promotions than critiquing talent. The promotion too much from the judges lends itself that they have been given a preference list of who American Idol creator Simon Fuller would like to work with and manage.

Jennifer Lopez who seems too have taken the power mantle from Simon Cowell has too much love and praise for the pretty boy entrants. The other red flag is Simon Fuller is HER MANAGER.

Elise Testone and Hollie Cavanagh were the other two contestants in the bottom three. Four girls and three boys make up the Top 7. The ratings are dropping and the show has become boring.
