In reaction to our American idol coverage the reviews took 9 of our NR Top 10 spots enhanced by 16-year-old singing sensation Jessica Sanchez being given BAD songs by Jimmy Iovine not suitable for her voice on American Idol - (FOX photo)

The judge's obvious praise for Phillips was over the top and raised red flags. Phillips plays guitar enough to support his vocals it is doubtful that he is capable of playing various types of music or skilled enough to sit in (jam/guest appearance) with top notch bands that can play more than three chord changes

DONE, DUSTED & BUSTED

The votes are in and Phillip won American idol after a very controversial season which from our point of view is the most corrupt ever. In a strange sort of way it was similar to the Dream Academy program from the Philippines. The similarity is summed up in one word EMPHASIS.

This American idol season EMPHASIZED the over the top PROMOTION of ONE contestant PHILLIP PHILLIPS throughout the entire season. He wasn't a stand out performer but Idol judges continued to praise him while at the same time MAKING EXCUSES for his shortcomings. When he did have a decent performance they praised him be saying we knew you could do it in his nearing their projected POTENTIAL of his talent.

The problem is he has a limited vocal range and couldn't sing high notes and rarely capable of sing the melody to a song. His limited vocal range barely over an octave was repeatedly deemed being great. The judges also praised him as being a great guitar player WHICH HE'S NOT.

Being musicians we know what great musician's are made of and he is not in that category. Phillips plays chords only and cannot play lead notes or solos as did season 9 contestant Casey James. David Cook the winner of season 7 is a better guitarist but is NOT a great one. The judge's obvious praise for Phillips was over the top and raised red flags. Phillips plays guitar enough to support his vocals it is doubtful that he is capable of playing various types of music or skilled enough to sit in (jam/guest appearance) with top notch bands that can play more than three chord changes.

The Philippine Dream Academy show EMPHASIZED on beating down contestant Laarni LoSala from the beginning. She was very poor and came from an abused background. The other contestants were primarily well off and financially stable. They chose to pick this girl apart about how she dressed and her hygiene. The judges and host were also verbally and mentally abusive. We wrote about it and that story remains one of our all time most read stories.

The similarity of EMPAHISIS between Idol and Dream Academy is too much attention paid to a certain contestant. On Idol they put too much EMPHASIS in building Phillips UP and tearing others down. In Dream Academy they spent too much time EMPHASIZING in tearing LoSala DOWN.

The end result is LoSala WON the Dream Academy program with votes from fans in a TRANSPARENT VOTING SYSTEM that was tabulated ON AIR as the votes came in DURING THE FINAL. Idol's voting system is MYSTERIOUS and NON-TRANSPARENT as well as being audited by a company called Telescope which has zero information on the Internet that they exist at all.

Idol's in house mentor and performance critique Iovine made bad song choice as did the judges during the semifinal Top 3 performance show for Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet. Iovine admitted he made mistakes and took full responsibly for his choice for Ledet in particular. The end result was Ledet was eliminated and Sanchez followed in the final after being given the worst ever song for her talent by Jimmy Iovine.

Part 2 - Sanchez Records the song that Brought Her Down
