THE TWO HOUR FINALE IS HOT, HOT, HOT!!!

In another typical AXN move the schedule that is listed on their website ignored what they are televising. They promoted the reruns on air staring at 2:45 PM Thai time and 3:45 PM in the Singapore/Hong Kong zones. What they failed to note is that yesterday Saturday, June 22, 2013 they televised it throughout most of the day.

Today Sunday, June 23 they were televising it a 7 AM and following the results of that Semi Final results show returned to regular programming. In summary you can't trust AXN to be a channel of HONOR.

The 2 hour special final results show that was surprisingly televised Thursday Thursday, June 20 is a MUST SEE. Prior to the telecast we were most interested in seeing 67-year-old CHER perform. She has had health problems in recent years and this was a special occasion to see how she is holding up.

She was the featured performer of the evening going on last. Cher looked spectacular and her skin is tight. Her voice sounded great but singing "Woman's World" but her dancing moves were at a slow pace. A lot of her maintaining her beauty is her mother looked great at that age. The added weight helped as I attended a party hosted by Warner Brothers Records at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. She was sitting at the table next to ours with Rod Stewart and his then honey Britt Elkland and I made the remark that she was too skinny. That is not the case now as she looks healthier.

Our next favorite was Bruno Mars. He's always made interesting performance and this was no different. He came out with a group of singers reminiscent of the 60's Motown style such as the Temptations. They kicked some big time ass dancing and prancing while singing "Treasure". The performance was one of the most arousing crowd pleasers of the night.

The most interesting bring them back alive performances was from another mature talent 68-year-old talent Bob Seger who was popular in the late 70's and early 80's. Seger was accompanied by the Swon Brothers singing his most popular hit "Night Moves". Strange enough Seger's voice seems stronger than what it was in his heyday.

The problem was his range is about half of when he was young but the Swon Brothers picked up the pieces and it worked out well for the trio. The Michigan native's voice seemed to have a richer tone that worked better than when he was in his prime.

The finale is a super show and The Voice's best of their 4-year history. It worked because it was staged and paced well while featuring and eclectic of artists that included Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, OneRepublic, Florida, Georgia Line and Nelly.
