Cambodian children are sold into prostitution by their parents. Some NGO's are doing something about it by creating a business and others teach and provide jobs. Other NGO's raise millions of dollars in donor money and.... just talk about it. OPERATION SMILE GIVES WITHOUT ASKING - COMING... INNOCENCE LOST - (NR Photo)

CNN'S INFOMERCIAL

When it comes to CNN other than becoming angry with their propaganda we take all of their information with a grain of salt. Their much publicized child sex investigative report Every Day in Cambodia turned out to be a shoddy piece of advertising to raise donor money for NGO's that thrive on telling the sad story of children being used in the sex trade.

The problem with their presentation and use of actress Mira Sorvino is we live amidst the problem and know the difference with what they reported what really goes on. The documentary touched on four very significant points which are the real story that they brushed over and where their investigation should have dug in a got to the truth.

1. The program was promoted as being an undercover investigation. The problem is CNN revealed that in Cambodia they passed a LAW that it is against the law to do undercover investigations. Sorvino brought it up to a female government official but didn't follow up and ask why and who was the author of the law.

2. Sorvino interviewed mothers that sold their children into the sex trade because they owed money to traffickers. Aside from laws that assist the trade debt is one the root causes of the child sex trade.

3. The program focused on a girl that was sold by her fisherman mother who was in debt to a trafficker for $200 that her husband borrowed. With the debt unpaid it rose to thousands of dollars in interest resulting in the loan shark trafficker taking her daughter as payment.

4. When the girl was taken to a hotel the NAGA Hotel Casino was pictured yet there was no interview by CNN or Sorvino with management as to why would they permit one of their customers to have an underage child TO STAY in the hotel to have sex with a Chinese client for SEVERAL CONSECUTIVE DAYS

There are a lot of problems with the concept of the program that serves more as a sympathy tool to raise money for NGO's that live a colonialist lifestyle whole the problem is never saved and NEVER WILL BE. It's also a tool for video producers to practice their craft as are many other so called undercover documentaries facilitate.

There were some good points in the documentary but the bad and unanswered questions outweigh the good. It's a long story that is as complicated as the existence of Israel which we will examine in detail later.

THE VOICE FINAL

Blake Shelton's winning streak as a coach is over as his last pupil Cole Vosbury was eliminated last week. Adam Levine with tow of the three remaining contestants and Christina Aguilera with the other are the front-runners to walk away with a title. Although Levine has two of the finalists Tessanne Chin the often rejected Will Champlin we predict that the title will go the Aguilera's 16-year-old entrant Jacquie Lee.

None of these contestants have a great voice but Chin is by far the most experienced and has the best quality voice. Lee's advantage is her youth and how we feel the show is going by supporting younger talent to attain a younger audience to enhance the shows advertising aspirations. Should she win it will be Aguilera's first win as a coach.

Champlin is an OK singer with a lot of heart. Should he win it will be because of a sympathy vote as his voice is the least of the three. Lee's strength is she is still learning and still growing. Being so young her voice can change and get stronger with the proper training. She's good now but has the greatest future potential.

Although Chin should win on having the best voice our picks to finish are: 1. Jacquie Lee 2. Tessanne Chin 3. Will Champlin

The final results show is televised in America tonight Tuesday, December 17, 2013. The delayed telecast will be televised in the East Asian region tomorrow Wednesday the 18th with the results show Thursday the 19th on the AXN network.
