Information was released that the missing episode 11 of Asia's Next Top Model (ANTM) in which Singapore model Nicole Lee 24, was eliminated. Sports took six of the NR TOP 10 spots this month. There were several repeat columns that returned to the charts involving sports. Several of last months columns remain but have changed positions. Three of out television reviews fill out all but one position on the charts. That mystery column is about the shoddy way some Cambodian companies do business - The class action against Google is our most read press release

ASIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL REMAINS A HOT TOPIC

Our sports columns were the big movers this month with much of it driven with what going on in the world of international football aka soccer in the USA. Obviously the big stories were the release of David Moyes from his duties as Manchester United's manager. That was followed by Ryan Giggs filling in as an interim manager for the remaining four games of the season. The rumor of Man U were interested in hiring the Netherlands national team manager Louis Van Gaal was the most recent of our coverage on the subject.

Monday it all came to fruition as Van Gaal was hired as the next Red Devil manager to commence with the competition of the Netherlands run in the World Cup. Our column relating to the Van Gaal rumor and our speculation of Giggs being hired as his assistant was the fastest riser this month in taking the number one spot.

The second position was our NBA Beat column remembering former NBA coach and General Manager Jack Ramsay Our column on David Moyes DOA (Dead on Arrival) continues to draw interest and remains on the charts but dropped from the top spot to 5th.

Other sports stories that continue to attract readership have previously been on the charts including THE BOYS FROM THE HOOD = the NFL Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks ranks 6th, the NBA's DAVID STERN TO STEP DOWN AS COMMISSIONER - will soon take off his emperor's clothes, ranks 8th. Another NFL column regarding the astounding comeback of the Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, from a thought to be career ending injury, to set NFL and personal best records but lost to the Boys in the Hood (Seattle Seahawks) in the Super Bowl.

The 3rd spot is taken by a surprise entry regarding the abominable bus service in Cambodia by Sorya Transit. That column will continues as this company has some major management problems that could lead to the deaths of tourists as the company is committed to cost saving measures and not quality of service and integrity.

Two columns relating to Asia's Next Top Model remain on the charts but switched places as being the most interesting. The column on the missing episode with Singaporean model Nicole Lee being trashed and not holds down the 4th position. That column holds down the 4th spot. Last months 2nd ranked story regarding the contests winner Sheena Liam has dropped to the 7th spot.

The third television review to chart was our view how the talent on The Voice is far superior to that of American Idol. That column THE VOICE's TALENT OBLITERATES AMERICAN IDOL's has maintained a strong interest for several months. The proof is in the pudding as they say as in American Idol's Neilson television ratings indicated that the show has dropped in half since their first episode of this season.

ARCHIVES

A sign of the times was exemplified as racism raised its ugly head once again most recently with the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling being recorded with racist remarks about black people. We checked our archives and accidentally came up with a column written in May 2007 regarding the topic that played out on the Pinoy Big Brother television series televised from the Philippines.

The interest in our NFL columns this month prompted us to search for an archive of the league that resulted in a column written in 2000 regarding then Super Bowl winning coach Dick Vermeil serving his critics crow by overcoming age discrimination. Vermiel was criticized for being too old to win the event but did and crow was served to his media critics.

The third archive story serves as our 10 years after qualification. It was one of the most exciting sports events we have ever covered that being a international kick boxing competition at Phnom Penh, Cambodia's Olympic Arena. The crown became enraged as their national kick boxing legend Ei Phouthang failed to perform up to expectations against Australian challenger Timure Dell. Their disappointment resulted in the crown throwing water bottles in the ring and a stampede ensued with sweaty bodies rushing for the exits.

A few minutes later the roughly 20% of those that remained around the stadium returned for the rest of the competition. The strange thing was the feeling wasn't of danger but comedy as it was the funniest sports coverage experience we have ever had.

SECTIONS MOST VISITED

Not much has changed in the sections most visited with a few shifts in position. Business took over the top spot exchanging the 2nd position with the NBA. CNN, Cambodia and the NFL made the biggest moves returning to the charts following several months' absence.

Cambodia must be attracting attention due to the aggressive manner in which they employ their interpretation of democracy by beating, and murdering their citizens and members of the media as described in several press releases in the section. The section also is a gateway to other subjects relating to Cambodian sports, travel and archives.

Larry King was the driving force behind the interest in CNN with our mention that since the networks sacking of the talk show host he has a second life on the rival RT News Channel. The NFL's return was largely driven by two columns, The Boys in the Hood aka the NFL Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks and Peyton Manning's miraculous return to form following a career threatening injury requiring a year of rehabilitation.

Archives dropped off the charts while the biggest mover upward from last month is soccer up to the sixth position from 10th.

During Songkran people roam the streets with containers of water or high powered water guns and powder, or post themselves at the side of roads with a garden hose and drench each other and passersby. Water from the canals is often used. The canals are Bangkok's sewers. The powder thrown combined with the water creates a chalk like film that can cause damage to your belongings. Your watch that MAY BE water proof but is your cell phone, I-Pad, computer or camera?
