ARCHIVES makes a strong showing. Given the interest this month we are listing the top 5 most read archive columns - There are several repeat columns from previous months with Israel's New Beast of Death Benji Netanyahu continuing to attract readers for the 4th consecutive month. In his case he retains interest due to his ongoing theft of Arab land as well as the slaughter and apartheid treatment of the Arab people whose land his rogue Jews invaded and stole

CAN SPORTS BE A STRESS SAVIOR?

Following several months of Israel's outrageous murders of Palestinian citizens and defying international laws being the primary focus of interest of our readers, sports has returned to dominate our new NR TOP 10 ratings in taking five places on the chart. Unfortunately Israel's war crimes continues to retain interest to our readers in making a strong showing taking three positions, all having charted in previous rankings.

Our television review with our opinion of the new season of The Voice takes the top spot. We recognized chinks in the shows armour as there are some inconsistencies in the manner the judges/mentors are making old song choices for young singers who were born long after the release of the song. Our opinion is that the mentors should be bringing out their students strengths in choosing songs that they would be comfortable with and not having them jump through hoops by selecting material they most likely never heard of and is not suited for their style of voice.

We feel that it appears there are too many individuals making decisions of how the show should work for their own interests or an associate's personal gain and not in the best interest of the contestants.

Second place goes to another repeat chart maker titled BAD NEWS = RT NEWS featuring VANITY JOURNALISM. This is our take on what appears to be a new trend of young, basically inexperienced, so called journalists covering a story with them being the focus of the report. In journalism school we were taught that a journalist should never be a part of the story BUT report the story.

Apparently RT News has caught the CNN disease and is now overdosing on vanity journalism with features of their journalist showing how they cover a story. Basically it's all about bullshit and having their faces on camera while the real story gets lost or is an afterthought.

One of their female journalists previously had a bad ass attitude by looking into the camera and boldly stating that she didn't need a weapon, that her microphone was her weapon. Since one of her colleagues, an RT cameraman was murdered in the Ukraine and ISIS has been chopping off journalists heads, she has toned down her act and is speaking in a not so bold style.

Israel related stories continue to attract attention. They most notable is our feature on Israel's so called leader Benjamin Netanyahu title THE NEW BEAST of DEATH. This story has charted since its release and moved up the chart from 6th to 4th.

The most significant Israel related story is the Russell Tribunal's findings that Israel committed numerous war crimes in its invasion of Gaza this past summer. Their findings in their report ranks 6th in our rankings as being the most read by our readers. The other Israel related chart buster is GOD BLESS AMERICA…. REALLY? This relates to Israel's partner in war crimes buddy America. It points out all of the US government abuses in Iraq, Vietnam and their outrageous treatment of prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. As usual, the US government eats the weenie on these issues.

Four of our five sports stories are repeaters. The only new entry is our selection of the greatest ever NBA players all-star team. The column that gained the most attention is our take on Bob Pettit who is the oldest member of the team and played the bulk of his NBA career in the 50's. Pettit is the toughest white player that we have ever seen in the league but most important although he is only 6'10" he played both forward and center positions and ranked third of all-time in averaging over 20 rebounds per season throughout his career trailing our 1st and 2nd center choices Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain.

Our point was he is not recognized by the young scribes that vote for such teams today simply because they weren't born yet and fortunate enough to see him play.

Other returning sports stories involve Louis Suarez, Jack Ramsey, Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson and the overblown media crucifixion of NFL player Andre Peterson.

Due to some overzealous, unknown source Peterson had been raked over the coals and had to appear in court for disciplining his son with a small tree branch referred to as a switch. Since our story he has appeared in court and has been banned by the NFL for the entire season without pay. Without pay means millions of dollars.

ARCHIVES

This month there are five stories that have gained major attention. The most read is our column Asian Equation. It was our experience is being exposed to what type of songs and artists appeal to Asian youth. We attended a concert and met a very intelligent teenager who was very expressive and said what she thought. She was so talented that she won a contest by the record company to be on tour with Britney Spears.

The second most read was a story we did on Dr. Beat Richner who has raised money and built children's hospitals in Cambodia. The hospitals treat the children FOR FREE. Richner currently has three hospitals. Richner plays the cello and gives concerts to help raise money for the hospitals. As one visitor from America who we mat at one of Richner's concerts said, "He gave his life for this," (treating sink children).

The third most read column is a sports feature on Hok Sochetra who was the star of the Cambodian national football team. This story titled Hok Sochetra On The Ball has maintained interest since it was published in 2004.

In an unusual circumstance there is a fourth entry that is a hybrid column that has created a significant amount of interest. Although it is only two years old we are including this hybrid column in our archives category. The subject is FORMER KHMER ROUGE PRISONER THEARY SENG SPEAKS OF KHMER ROUGE TRIBUNAL INJUSTICE.

The hybrid label is due to our introducing her statement with our experience of dealing with her. Her comments followed our introduction. Given the incidents presently occurring with Israel's apartheid, genocide tactics and imprisonment of the Palestinian people as well as the uprising of ISIS in the Middle East makes this column most relevant and a worth read.

As a tribute to the current Suzuki Cup which was formerly known as the Tiger Cup. The name change came about when Tiger Beer declined to continue their sponsorship of the tournament. When Suzuki came to the rescue resulted in the competitions name change. Back in the day the tournament was one of the most exciting sports events in the Southeast Asian region.

This month we are featuring one of the most thrilling sports contests we have ever covered when in February 2001 Worawot Srimaka a giant 6-4, Thai striker powered in a hat trick within an 18 minute span in leading Thailand to a 4-1 victory over Indonesia before a crowd of 40,000 screaming fans at Bangkok's Rajamangala stadium for the championship of ASEAN football.

TOP 5 PRESS RELEASES

Entertainment ruled the most read press releases with Marc Anthony & Ruben Blades for 15th Anniversary Latin GRAMMY Telecast taking the top spot. Other entertainment release gaining the most attention is Nick Cannon Named Entertainment Matters Ambassador for the 2015 International CES notching the 3rd spot and Neal Mccoy's recording titled Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride holding down 5th place.

There is a resurgence of interest from an August business release regarding Skyjet Nominated as Best ranking 2nd and another business release and a repeat from last month Media Revolution with 2015 NAB Show earning 4th place.

SECTIONS MOST VISITED

For the third consecutive month the NBA takes the top spot is the sections most visited category. American Idol and the Features sections have returned to the charts. For Idol it's a seasonal thing but there is a twist to this season's entry. Since we have all but dropped our coverage of what we believe to be a fixed show we have included our reviews on The Voice in this section. The bottom line is that WE ARE DONE WITH IDOL.

Our television reviews made the biggest upward movement bolting five sports from 8th to 3rd. There has been a strong interest in our Cambodian content as activity has been stimulated in almost all of our Cambodian content links including Archives, Cambodia Sports, Phnom Penh and the Freshie Girl & Boy Contest sub page.

Much of the interest in the Freshie section stems from the relationship between the Freshie and the ill fated Sabay effort to create a Cambodian show to be the equivalent of America's Grammy Awards. Their effort was not well received and resulted in a miserable failure.

Dennis Rodman, China and Boxing sections have dropped off the charts this month. This is the first time since we have listed the China section that it has not made the T0P 10 rankings. This month it slipped to 11th place. Dennis Rodman continues to stimulate interest as he is on the bubble in 12th place.

MOST VISITED PR SECTIONS

The most read press release sections category remains constant with the same four players. There has been a shift in positioning with Business taking the top spot from Entertainment which fell to 2nd. FIFA moved up to 3rd and BIT (Internet Technology dropped to 4th.

Last month we began making a change in how we report on this category. All PR related sections will not be noted in our regular most read sections chart rating but will be recognized on its own in the order of interest. Our focus is to chart sections with original content while recognizing the interest of our partners that the PR sections positions must also be noted.

The Entertainment section falls into a gray category since in the past we have had original content with our Entertainment Beat columns. When we resume that column the Entertainment section will then qualify for the regular sections most visited chart recognition.

This will go on for eternity while very little is done except pay the salaries of NGO staff. As author John Perry Barlow said over a decade ago when he addressed the media and NGO types at the Foreign Correspondents Club in Phnom Penh, that NGO's won't do their job, "BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE NO JOB."

To many his death was a relief and interpreted as being good news. The bad news is he has been reincarnated and his name is Benjamin Netanyahu

Previous - Phnom Penh (Ah) - US GOVERNMENT'S MISTAKES - February, 2014
WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND - Not only do NGO's exploit poor nations by using their oppressed people's situation to raise money and do nothing but immerse themselves with a colonialist lifestyle but the US government uses democracy as an excuse to invade a country destroy it and massacre its people as they did in the carpet bombing of Cambodia. For some that unpunished war crime will not go away

Sports Notes EXTRA - LUIS "JAWS " SUAREZ BAITS DEBATE - June, 2014
BAD BOY, BAD BOY, WHATCHA GONNA DO? - The debate goes on but one thing is certain, without a doubt Luis Suarez has topped Dennis Rodman as being the most controversial athlete in the world. He joins our bad boy team of Rodman, Mike Tyson, Ron Artest and Joey Barton. Given that he is doing his thing on the World Cup stage, the most watched television event in history, at this point he must receive the TOP BAD BOY AWARD

Previous - POV - (Point of View) - Part 2 - ISRAEL… THE BABY KILLERS - September, 2014
CONNECT THE ISRAELI DOTS when WATCHING TV NEWS - When Barack Obama campaigned in his initial run for the presidency he was resolute about how he was going to put Israel in their place. That caught the attention of Israel's apparently fanatical president Benjamin Netanyahu who was extremely vocal about how upset he was about the statements from the man who was to become America's first black president - Israel claims that it has the right to defend their borders (that they stole from Palestine in 1948).
