NR TOP 10 - August, 2014 - SOMALY MAM FOUNDATION FRAUD TOPS RANKINGS

In the child sex trade film Red Light, Somaly Mam interviews the mother that received only $10 a month for her child to be a sex slave - Red Light screen shot

Receiving massive attention is our story on ISRAEL, THE BABY KILLERS that has rocketed up our soon to be released. NR TOP 10 CHARTS - These babies in Gaza survived and are being treated at hospitals that have been bombed by Israel. That's the good news, the BAD NEWS IS OTHER Palestinian BABIES WERE KILLED - Al Jazeera photo

ON TV... Israel's bombing of Gaza caused the murder of four Palestinian youths playing football on the beach. What could they be shielding in PLAIN SIGHT on the beach? This young boy was LUCKY as he was only injured elsewhere during Israel's unmerciful bombing in PROTECTING THEIR BORDERS from young children playing - Al Jazeera photo

MONEY GONE TO WASTE - Governments promoting NGO parties = NO RESULTS for child sex victims - Backstage at the 2011 MTV EXIT show in Phnom Penh, Cambodia there was an emphasis in promoting the show. Money raised to eliminate child sex trafficking is diverted to entertainment not results to stop the problem. People involved in the production don't work for free and they benefit not the intended children who are used as pawns for raising money.- www.nationalradio.com photo

The Somaly Mam Foundation Fraud and Israel's slaughtering of innocent civilians and 500 children have each commanded three spots on our new NR TOP 10. Fighting the child sex industry is the biggest hoax to perpetuate donor funding for a cause that can't be cured in the manner the NGO's pursue. It's all about raising money to have a job or film project on the subject to live a colonialist lifestyle

CHILD SEX NGO's challenge ISRAEL'S MURDERS of CHILDREN

During a month where the world seems to have gone mad the Somaly Mam Foundation NGO scandal surpassed Israel's murders of Palestinian children. The related stories regarding the Mam scandal took three of our NR TOP 10 spots including our most recent posting titled NGO'S MISPLACED CHILD SEX FUNDING.

This story bolted to the top of the charts with 24 hours of release. It points out how NGO's are concerned that the fraud revelation will have an effect on their funding. It's a self serving attitude that is applicable in the self serving cause of fighting the child sex industry. The funding is more about foreigners having a well paying job to live a colonialist lifestyle than of purpose to fight something that they know full well they can do very little about.

We question what are NGO's doing with the money that is funded to them. For 16 years we have watched these NGO staffs come and go yet regardless of what they say their stated purpose is they have done little to put a dent in the problem. They know that child sex industry is controlled by police and government officials but fail to make an effort to remedy that situation since they know there is nothing they can do about it. As they say you can't fight city hall.

Other than NGO's having a feeding frenzy promoting how they are going to fight the problem it is basically lip service to raise money. Young filmmakers have joined in on the feast as numerous young lions have journeyed to Cambodia to practice their filmmaking choosing the subject that is a juicy topic and one that entices funding.

There are three films that we have reviewed including Red Light, The Girls of Phnom Penh and the Virginity Trade that have promoted the Somaly Mam Foundation. The Netherlands Embassy in Bangkok is to have funded Red Light a project. Nico Masterharm who is in charge of the Meta House in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, who teaches filmmaking and produces films for NGO's says the rule of thumb budget on such a film is $1,000 a minute. The Red Light film was 72 minutes in length but as noted on Wilkipedia $500,000 was spent in making the documentary or $428,000 over rule of thumb.

The bigger picture is the government agencies that are behind these frauds with their funding and support. In 2011 Cambodian youths lined up for MTV EXIT concert at Phnom Penh's Olympic stadium. The objective was to make them aware of the child sex trafficking issue or basically JUST TALK ABOUT IT. The question is since the child sex trade continues to GROW is it obvious that their method and message is not working. There are a lot of NGO staff making money and having fun while children continued to be sold into the child sex business.

US AID and Australian Aid were sponsors of the MTV EXIT show. The event was more of a party of those involved and money was spent to have a Korean K-Pop girl group appear and paying 25 MTV Event staff that are based in Bangkok. The money could have been better spent by correcting the root cause of the problem… POVERTY and create jobs for the poor of Cambodia so they won't have to sell their children.

Money could go to creating jobs or subsidizing the poor who sell their daughters and receive ONLY $10 a month. Common sense dictates that $500,000 divided by $10 equates to 50,000 months that a mother receives for her sex slave child. It also equates to 4166 years that money spent money donated to NGO's would suffice a mother that sold her child.

The numbers are staggering and one could go on and on in slicing numbers with the result being that there is too much foolish funding and spending that only create jobs for foreigner NGO staff and does little or nothing to eliminate the problem. Our story points out that the fighting child sex cause more about raising money just to talk, party and live a colonialist lifestyle than producing quantitative results?

Two other related stories regarding the Somaly Mama Foundation fraud that were in the NR TOP 10 last monthly remain a hot topic of interest. Our Phnom Penh column, SOMALY MAM FOUNDATION FRAUD, dropped from 2nd to 4th and our VIDEO BEAT column titled: Cambodia Daily reporter Simon Marks revealed THE SOMALY MAM FRAUD, dropped from 3rd to 5th.

CNN is also in the limelight for the participation of promoting a fraud as in the past they awarded Somaly Mam as well as sending their reporters to Cambodia to do sensationalized stories on the child sex subject. Their most recent report was titled, Every Day in Cambodia, with actress Mira Sorvino being the focus with her attitude on the subject.

For those of us that are familiar with the subject, the program was embarrassing to watch. CNN can pound their chest all they want but the bottom line is they are only interested in sensationalized reports to boost ratings in their battle with their top sensationalized news competitor Fox News.

Our top story relates to this NGO returning to the hotel that they filmed in which a Chinese guest had sex for several days with a child that the NGO is taking care of. CNN and Sorvino failed to pursue a line of questioning to the hotels management of why they would permit child sex to occur on their premises. The twist is that the NGO accepted an invitation from a fight organization to attend an event at the hotel rather than protest it to raise awareness that the hotel permitted child sex on the premises.

The action by the NGO and media that covered the event is evidence of the lack of integrity as by their actions they looked the other way and in effect support child sex abuse. The NGO could be critiqued as working at crossed purposes.

Three stories related to Israel have made the rankings. The unmerciful slaughter of Palestinian children titled ISRAEL SHOOTING (Gaza) FISH IN A BARREL in our Video Beat column ranks 2nd. The column questions why the nation of soldiers is so horrendous in their attack on the Palestinian people of Gaza whose land they stole and currently occupy. In the process they have murdered 500 children of the slightly more than 2000 people they have slaughtered to date. Gaza is known as the world's biggest prison that is surrounded by walls and has a blockade of its waters by Israel.

Our Point of View column: ISRAEL'S BENJAMIN NETANYAHU - The New BEAST of DEATH, ranks 7th. Netyanyahu is the mastermind the child slaughter. He is audacious in his stating that they have a right to defend their borders. He fails to add THAT THEY STOLE to protect America's and Western nations INTEREST in the OIL IN THE REGION.

There a strange thread of a twist to all of these stories, the producer of Red Light is a former Israeli soldier. She is trained to kill Arabs and Muslims including children yet becomes an opportunist to practice her filmmaking of Red Light with the emphasis being to SAVE CHILDREN. KILL, SAVE… excuse us but we don't get it.

The other Israel related story that charted at # 10 is another Point of View column, GOD BLESS AMERICA…. REALLY? This questions why the United States government endorses invasion, murder, theft and the occupation of Palestinian land by Israel. The answer is OIL as America is of the same ilk as they stole their land from the indigenous Indian people. They also stole Hawaii. It's a continuation of the Mighty Whitey disease that we will explore at another time.

There are three sports stories in the NR TOP 10 as David Moyes returns to the charts at #8. LUIS "JAWS" SUAREZ BAITS DEBATE (Ya gotta love him) notched the 6th spot and our Sports Notes column WORLD CUP ZINGERS commanded the highest position landing in the 3rd spot.

ARCHIVES

In Archives we take a look back to 2002 and 2003. A 2002 Travel Tips column delves into the troubling travel connections within Cambodia due to their lack of infrastructure. There are several photos of the way it was when one had to travel from Phnom Penh to Koh Kong they had to travel over dirt roads and cross four bridges. It was truly the wild, wild, west atmosphere but beautiful at the same time.

Prior to the Koh Kong Bridge completion one had to cross the river by boat to reach the other side. A traveler was at the mercy of controllers that determined what boat a traveler would get in to and how much they would pay. In many cases unknowing foreigners were charged 10 times or more. We have had some memorable battles with a controller that had brown stained teeth that almost resulted in death.

An old Sports Notes column explores the problems with Thailand's football problems following their release of Englishman Peter Withe who is the most successful coach in the team's history. Under his leadership Thailand was ranked by FIFA in the mid fifties and 6th in Asia. There remains a mysterious parting of the ways and the FAT (Football Association of Thailand) wanted too hire a Brazilian and the program went bust… it has yet to recover and its ranking has drooped 100 points to 157.

SECTIONS MOST VISITED

Our Travel section is the only new entry in the section most visited category in notching the 10th spot. CNN ROARED forward moving up from the 10th position to 3rd. Largely due to the Somaly Mam scandal the Phnom Penh section was also a major mover forward leaping from the 9th to 4th position.

Much of the interest is in our travel news regards the hotels in China. The China section was our fastest mover at the mid point of the month rocketing to third place up from 8th but fell back to notch 9th in the rankings.

There was a strong interest in the Dennis Rodman, Freshie Girl & Boy, FIFA and American Idol sections that were on the bubble of qualifying for the TOP 10.

Is this an indication that these NGO maggots are more concerned that the revelation of the fraud is more about where will the money come from to support their alcoholic dependencies and colonialist party animal lifestyles?
