POV 28 - (Point of View) - RACIST DONALD TRUMP gets a FREE MEDIA RIDE?

For every appearance or commentary, IN TOTAL, Trump is receiving $600,000,000 worth of free air time and advertising PER ACCUMULATIVE HOUR for his run to be the president of the United States, based on the Super Bowl ad rate. Multiply that by the hours and hours overall of television coverage he has received and it raises the question WHY? WHY are the television networks supporting this racist megalomaniac?

BILLIONS OF $ IN FREE TELEVISION COVERAGE

Is Donald Trump playing out his book, THE ART OF THE DEAL? When you consider how much FREE television TIME Trump receives its no wonder that he can finance his own campaign since he admits that he receives so much FREE air time. When he announced that he would seek the Republican Party nomination to run for the president of the United States he was scorned by the media and thought to be a joke.

When he went on the offensive and attacked the Mexican race in denouncing them as criminals and illegal he then backtracked to clarify the he didn't mean ALL MEXICANS but just the illegal.

At the start of his campaign CNN demonized him and dismissed him as a joke. Trump's outlandish statements and attacks at his competitors in the presidential race made him more controversial and inadvertently MORE POPULAR. His racist rhetoric galvanized him resulting in the embrace of racist community that exists in the United States as he became their choice voice.

Trump started to show his racist spots when as a guest on CNN's Don Lemon Tonight show, a few weeks ago, he refused to reply to Lemon's question do black lives matter. Trump simply dismissed his question with a curt comment that he wasn't going to answer it. The most significant matter in this instance is the Lemon IS BLACK and he FAILED TO PRESS TRUMP TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE.

When that subject came up again on another show Trump side stepped the subject but stated that the black lives matter group has some problems which could be interpreted that he does have an issue with black people.

Trump repeatedly states that he has people of various races that he has made negative comments about that are good people because they rent or do business with him. He sidesteps questions regarding Muslims and Arabs.

Last night Trump was interviewed again by Lemon who devoted his entire hour to the billionaire yet the CNN host failed to again raise the question do black lives matter. He did question the billionaire about Muslims with reference to the incident in New Hampshire a few weeks ago when someone from the audience said that America has a problem with Muslims and should GET RID OF THEM.

In his reply to Lemon Trump noted that some Muslims are a PROBLEM. Trump noted his concerns that there are radical Muslim groups but he is not anti Muslim.

Lemon, who is black and gay, asked Trump if he was homophobic. Trump replied that he wasn't and again referenced those gays that he deals in business with.

Trump most recently stated that if he becomes president he will send back all Syrian refugees that came to America. When you add all of the nationalities and religions that he has criticized he has Mexicans, Arabs, blacks, Syrians and Muslims on his bucket list.

Trump boasts that he will build a military that nobody in the world will mess with. He again failed to clarify how he would pay for it and what areas of the American economy would suffer. Currently America has a lack of funding for schools. The wealthy such as Trump want t do away with Social Security. Trump continues to throw out things he will do but fails to clarify how he will pay for it.

Trump walks a fine line when he states how rich he is and what he owns. This is becoming a chink in his amour as some pundits have revealed that all of Trumps glitter is not gold since many of the buildings that are named after him he doesn't own but simply leases his name to the structure.

The self proclaimed billionaire picks and chooses what questions he will answer and who will ask them. He has gone on record that he will no longer deal with the Fox Network who he feels have been unfair with their questions to him. Since his bold statement he has been interviewed by Fox's Bill O'Riley. His vacillation of what he says and what he does raises concern is that they way he would rune the country if elected?

Although CNN pundits crucified him at the beginning of his race for the Republican presidential nomination they now embrace him.

Trump is particularly fond of CNN's Chris Cumo. Trump has nothing but positive things to say about Cumo on air during their interviews. Their interaction comes off as incest at its best scenario.

They both stroke each other with complimentary remarks as Trump is quick to note how fond he is of Cumo's family. Cumo is a member of the Cumo political clan. His brother Andrew is currently the governor of New York.

Cumo's father Mario was the governor of New York State. He was widely considered a front-runner for the Democratic nomination for President in both 1988 and 1992, but he declined to seek the nomination in both instances. His legacy as a reluctant standard-bearer for the Democrats in presidential elections led to him being dubbed "Hamlet on the Hudson".

On the flip side of Trump's warmth for CNN he refuses to interview with Anderson Cooper. Cooper is a member of the Rockefeller family and one can imagine that this could be a derivative of sour business relations with Trumps businesses and the Rockefellers. Like CNN we can't verify this information and like CNN we're just saying for color and effect aka creative license.

The core of the Trump success is the amount of free television time he is given on talk shows or in news coverage which for the most part is focused on his frequent shocking remarks.

Other candidates don't receive free television coverage thus Trump has a major advantage. The media attention Trump is given is worth BILLIONS of dollars.

The presidential race is the SUPER BOWL or WORLD CUP of POLITICS. To put it in Super Bowl ad rate perspective according to NEXT TVTODAY the Super Bowl ad rates are $5 million on the CBS television network for 30 SECONDS. Last year, the going rate for a Super Bowl spot on NBC was $4.5 million.

In Trumps case he has received HOURS of FREE time. In total how many accumulated hours have you seen Trump on television either in the news or being interviewed on a talk or variety show?

For every appearance or commentary, IN TOTAL, Trump is receiving $600,000,000 worth of free air time and advertising PER ACCUMULATIVE HOUR for his run to be the president of the United States, based on the Super Bowl ad rate.

Multiply that by the hours and hours overall of television coverage that he has received on numerous channels in America and around the world it raises the question WHY? WHY are the television networks supporting this racist megalomaniac with free air time while denying other presidential candidates?

The bottom line is Trump appears to be playing his cards right and is playing the media like a violin OR…… is he USING THEM AS HIS TOOLS of FOOLS.
