R U READY 4 RUMBLES?

Sunday morning in East Asia TV viewers will be treated to two of the most talked about fights of all time. Ironically the women's title fight champion Ronda Rousey verses Miesha Tate takes center stage over Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman since Rousey admittedly hates Tate from whom she won the title.

The two fighters have a hated history with most recently competing against each other as coached in the televised Ultimate Fighter competition that featured the coaching teams of men and women. Throughout the series there were several verbal blasts from Rousey towards Tate to which Tate blew off as Rousey displaying her ignorance and arrogance. The end result was Tate's woman and man fighter won both titles further infuriating Rousey.

The UFC has been promoting this as a grudge match that has more history than the Ultimate Fighter TV show. In a previous fight Rousey defeated Tate. Rousey faced Julia Budd at Strikeforce Challengers 20 on November 18, 2011 in Las Vegas which she won via submission due to an armbar in the first round, dislocating Budd's elbow in the process. Following the fight, she announced plans to move down to 135 pounds to challenge Miesha Tate, the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion at the time, with whom she had developed a much-publicized rivalry.

Rousey challenged Tate for her then Strikeforce title on March 3, 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. She defeated Tate by submission due to an armbar in the first round dislocating Tate's elbow, to become the new Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. During the Ultimate Fighter TV series Tate pointed out that she knew nothing abut Rousey prior to their fight and that she made some mistakes that she won't make in the rematch.

Following that fight the tough talking but attractive Rousey became somewhat of a celebrity. Rousey appeared nude on the cover ESPN The Magazine's 2012 Body Issue and in a pictorial therein. Touching upon the strategic cropping poses and arm placement used in the photos to make them less revealing. In May 2013, Rousey was ranked 29 on the Maxim Hot 100. Rousey also appeared on and had a section in the Maxim Magazine's September 2013 issue.

In 2013, Rousey's status as a top MMA fighter led to multiple commercial partnerships. In April, she was featured in a 30-second commercial for American mobile network operator MetroPCS. In June, she performed as the insureon Protector in a two-minute spot for small-business insurance agency insureon. On July 23, 2013, Sylvester Stallone announced via his official Twitter account that Rousey will star in The Expendables 3, marking her first role in a major motion picture. Rousey said that it would not interfere with her upcoming fight in December with Miesha Tate. On August 9, Dwayne Johnson announced that Rousey would appear in Fast & Furious 7.

There is more to Rousey than her bark since she has pedigree and bite. Her mother had a decorated Judo career and was the first American to win a World Judo Championship with her victory in 1984. At 17, Rousey qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, becoming the youngest judo competitor in the entire Games. Also in 2004, Rousey won a gold medal at the 2004 World Junior Judo Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

In April 2006, she became the first female U.S. athlete in nearly 10 years to win an A-Level tournament as she went 5-0 to claim gold at the Birmingham World Cup in Great Britain. Later that year, the 19-year-old won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships, becoming the first U.S. athlete ever to win two Junior World medals.

In February 2007, Rousey moved up to 70 kg where she is currently ranked as one of the top three women in the world. She won the silver medal at the 2007 World Judo Championships in the middleweight division and the gold medal at the 2007 Pan American Games.

In August 2008, Rousey competed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China. She lost her quarterfinal to the Dutch ex-world champion Edith Bosch but qualified for a Bronze medal match through the repechage bracket. Rousey defeated Annett Boehm by Yuko to win a bronze medal (note: Judo offers two bronze medals per weight class). With the victory, Rousey became the first American to win an Olympic medal in women's judo since its inception as an Olympic sport in 1992.

In November 2012, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced that Rousey had become the first female fighter to sign with the UFC. UFC President Dana White officially announced at the UFC on Fox: Henderson vs. Diaz pre-fight press conference that Rousey was the first UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion.

Rousey is notable for introducing trash talking to Women's MMA. In many interviews Rousey has used harsh language and openly downplayed the abilities of her opponents, which she explains as a way to generate more publicity for the sport. Explaining about her signature armbar, Rousey said that her judoka mother jumped on her every morning to wake her up with armbars. Rousey has stated that sex before a fight is good for a female fighter, as it boosts the fighter's testosterone level.

Rousey is less experienced but undefeated in all seven of her UFC fights. Tate has had 17 fights with 13 wins and four losses. Three of her wins are by knockout and only one by submission. The consensus is that Tate needs to stay on her feet and punch out Rousey. If she is taken to the ground she is in danger of being another Rousey armbar victim.

The Weidman Silva fight should be a masterpiece. Silva clowned around when he lost his title to Weidman by sticking his chin out and taunting Weidman/ Weidman was all business and stayed the course until he caught Silva on his stuck out chin and knocked him unconscious, Should Silva undertake this fight as he did in his loss he will lose again.

Although he is considered that greatest UFC fighter ever his clowning resulting in losing will tarnish his image. He's gone soft and Hollyweird. Following his loss to Weidman he was walking through the exit tunnel with singer Usher and that is a telling sign of a loser gone Hollyweird.
