A singer peeing on a fans face on stage got our attention if that was the goal of what appeared to be a publicity stunt. The bottom line is although to some it was disgusting to others singer Sophia Urista was praised for acting like a true rock star

Go figure… a bands singer peed on the face of a fan in the audience. What? I mean really what kind of world is this? In this case it's a pee on the face world.

Last month during a performance Brass Against singer Sophia Urista stated on stage "I gotta pee, and I can't make it to the bathroom," Urista then told the crowd. "So we might as well make a show out of it."

A male fan standing in front to the stage with a can on his head volunteered. Urista invited him to the stage where he laid down flat. While singing a rendition of Rage Against the Machine's "Wake Up," Urista pulled down her pants squatted over him and streamed urine on his face and in his mouth. The fan was elated with the golden shower.

After the event Urista told him to get the fuck off the stage. As he departed he spit out some of the pee in his mouth on fans at the front of the stage. With her urge done Urista sang on.

The event caused much of a stir in the news. According to The Daytona Beach News-Journal, Daytona Beach Police spokesman Messod Bendayan confirmed that police received a message on the department's Facebook account about the incident. Bendayan then told the person to file a report, which she did. "I did get one like that and I told her to file a report and she did," stated Bendayan. He also explained that the department's criminal investigations division will look into the matter.

The News-Journal further reports that Florida statute 800.03 makes it unlawful to for someone to "expose his or her sexual organs in public or on the private premises of another, or so near thereto as to be seen from such private premises, in a vulgar or indecent manner."

If it was attention that Urista and Brass Against were looking for they certainly got ours. It raised the question of who is this woman who was facing a year in jail or a $1,000 fine for her role in the incident.

The now 36-year-old openly gay singer appeared on Season 11 of The Voice and sang 'Come Together' for her Blind Audition. Then 31 she was a two chair turn that included Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys. She chose Cyrus to be her coach. Urista lasted until the Live Payoffs when she sang "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy." Apparently the viewing audience didn't and she was sent packing.

Season 11 is my favorite season. There were a lot of talented singers in that contest which was won by Sundance Head.

Urista is from Detroit and at 17 told her parents that she was going to move to New York and become a professional singer. Her parents said good luck and Urista was on her way to the Big Apple to achieve her dream to become a star.

Not much was heard from her until she peed on the fans face. In You Tube videos with Brass Against her singing was Ok but her voice not earth shattering. Overall she looked good, was in good physical shape. Her The Voice Blind Audition performance of "Come Together," sounded forced. There are several songs of her singing with Brass Against where she sounded better on some songs but nothing memorable.

The most interesting videos were one peeing on the fans face and another of her welcoming viewers to her apartment. She was very polite, cordial and looked great and the apartment was in order. We recommend this and rate it as a worth viewing.

As yet there have been no reports of her receiving jail time or a fine. So….. all must be well for Brass Against and Sophia Urista so pee and play on. If it was attention they were looking for…. THEY GOT IT.
