REASONS WHY FOR ANTAGONIST OMAROSA'S BAD REPUTATION

As former New York Yankees player and manager Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over till it's over." Well for the Celebrity Apprentice this week the final episode will finally be over in Southeast Asia. The program previously aired in the USA during the first quarter of 2008 finishing in March. In Asia the two hour final show was split into two one hour segments with the first hour being televised last week the remainder will air this Wednesday night on the Star World channel.

Finalist and country singing recording artist Trace Adkins will perform on the show. Former contestant and bassist for the band KISS Gene Simmons makes an appearance via satellite from Japan. The remaining eliminated contestants appear live on the show including finalist Piers Morgan's antagonist Omarosa. They continue to disrespect each other and life goes on.

Though we've seen most of the previous series we never saw season 1 and never knew why Omarosa has such a bad reputation. We obtained a DVD of season 1 in which she first appeared and the reasons why her negative reputation became perfectly clear. She continually passed the buck and slacked on her responsibilities drawing resentment from her teammates. She held herself in high esteem which she didn't earn based on her miserable job performance.

In the final of that show Trump chose six of the final eight to help the two finalists on the final task. One of the finalists was black and he chose Omarosa who was number eight of the final eight. She let him down and shirked her responsibilities and felt that her having dinner was more important than doing her job. The result being Jessica Simpson the star of a show they presented in a charity benefit for Operation Smile at the Trump Taj Mahal hotel/casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey USA arrived at the airport with the transportation the hotel provided for her missing. That was Omarosa's responsibility.

Prior to the mishap the hotel manager called Omarosa for her to be heads up for the arrangements. After receiving the message of the managers call Omarosa refused to return the call since she was having dinner. When asked by her teammates at the dinner table what was the call about she responded that it was nothing.

In season one on the episode which she was eliminated Omrosa wanted to stop and have lunch while her teammate said no that they had a job to do. Omarosa ignored her teammates concern and had lunch. When Donald Trump found out about it in the board room it was one of the points he brought up before firing her. He noted that the job has to be done FIRST and eating can wait.

Often we often advise people to watch the Apprentice to learn and see how Western business people think and how cut throat business can be. We suggest it to Asian students for several reasons including learning English and picking up pointers on ethics, integrity and human behavior.

A second Celebrity Apprentice is scheduled to begin airing in the US this March. The shows usually are televised in Asia several months to a year later. The word is that former NBA basketball star turned actor Dennis Rodman will be a contestant on the show.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL - SAYS WHAT!!!???

As they say stupid is what stupid does. On the 10 cycle of America's Top Model currently airing on Channel V, an experienced model Allyson, who bragged that she has modeled in several countries including jobs in Bangkok, Thailand, had an attitude problem with a contestant from Somalia who has experienced their cultural female mutilation (cutting female genitals). The two exchanged negative comments about each other but the experienced model took it to another level when she made remarks that the Somali model had a big butt because she was black.

She went on to make more comments about the model being black to which the Somali model pointed out that she was making racist remarks. At the judging session the experienced model was eliminated. Her modeling wasn't that bad her comments were. Judge/photographer Nigel Barker noted, "You've got a great body, you've got all of the attributes to make this work but…" He went on to comment about her lack of movement and expression.

"She's actually conceited she has no idea how to say thank you," regarding the models reaction when the judges complimented her. "You don't know how to say two words…. Thank you," Banks said to Allyson as she was eliminated.

"I blew it," was Allyson's final comment as she packed her bags and headed out the Top Model door.

You would think that the experienced model would make better decisions and wiser remarks as she was participating on a show where three of its on air talent and the producer are minorities. Of course Tyra Banks is black as is trainer/judge Miss J, trainer Jay Emanuel is Hispanic and the producer is Asian. The reality is that if she covered up her racist beliefs it would eventually reveal itself. The result being she's off the show and will never be America's Next Top Model.
