The Somaly Mam Foundation hoax was promoted in the documentary "Red Light" as well as CNN's "Every Day in Cambodia." Both productions used film stars to enhance the credibility of their projects. The chinks if both film projects armour were exposed when journalist Simon Marks did the vetting and exposed Somaly Mam as a fraud in his Newsweek magazine article. With all of the money that CNN has and their CIA connections they failed to vet Mam yet they continue to boast of how great they are in undercover reporting. They failed to properly vet Mam whom they gave a Hero's award to and report the news of her hoax. CNN was caught with their PANTS DOWN- Recommended TV Listings

MONEY RAISING FILMS

In December of 2013 we noted regarding the anti child sex documentary Red Light that there was a vivid scene in the documentary. A mother related to the filmmakers that she received a total of $10 a month from a brothel owner for the sex services provided by her 14 year old daughter. The doc also points out how enslaved girls are tortured and police are involved in the sex trade. This film explores the victims predicament and is a must see.

The problems are that the film was NOT designed for the general public to view; it was a film that was designed to raise money for the filmmakers and NGO's.

What is telling about this film and other films exposing the same anti child sex trafficking subject is that they are produced by young aspiring filmmakers trying to develop and build their filmmaking credits as well as they are receiving support by government agencies.

A Red Light press release published in December 2010 noted that Red Light was narrated by UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Lucy Liu, REDLIGHT tells the real life stories of child victims of human trafficking and two remarkable women who fight to save them. Produced by filmmaker and RedLight Children Founder Guy Jacobson over a four-year period.

REDLIGHT uses footage smuggled out of brothels in Cambodia and testimonials from the young victims and their relatives. According to the U.S. Department of State's 2010 Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report released last week, approximately 1 out of every 555 people in the world is a victim of human trafficking.

As the Red Light press release statement read, they were appealing to the soft hearted and uninformed. The release stated that: REDLIGHT gives the young victims a voice to tell their personal stories and profiles the tireless efforts of two women activists to rescue and safeguard them: Somaly Mam, a former trafficking victim who has dedicated her life to saving victims and empowering survivors; and Mu Sochua, Member of Parliament and former Minister of Women's Affairs in Cambodia. Both women have been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for their extraordinary efforts in fighting for the rights of children who have been trafficked into prostitution.

We've dealt with Mu Sochua and found her to be responsive and forthright. If anything she was swept up in the hail storm of NGO's and filmmakers waving the self-indulgent stop child sex trafficking flag. After viewing Red Light the first time we were impressed and knew of no lies. We asked her permission to use her photo which she granted. We have no problem with her and respect her efforts as she has been involved with her own political battles with the Cambodian government. In our opinion in this case she was used to enhance the credibility of the film and then, due to the fallout, became a Red Light victim.

In a survey conducted by those involved with the film noted that: Most respondents - nearly nine out of ten (88%) - were unaware that more than 10 million people are living in sexual slavery or some form of forced labor in the world today, while just one in five (22%) knew that human trafficking generates $30 billion or more in profit each year.

That statement raises a bigger question... how much money do these anti child sex trafficking films raise for NGO's and the filmmakers who move on to make other films regarding the sex trade?

The Israeli producer of Red Light also produced a poorly made film titled Holly. How much of the money raised by Red Light went forward to the production of Holly?

In her on line profile the producer admitted that she couldn't accomplish what she wanted in the Israeli filmmaking industry thus she chose Asia as a stepping stone to a filmmaking career. Most notably she received support from government agencies. The problem is that Red Light was a film that was proved to be disreputable as it was based on lies by Somaly Mam who heads an anti child sex NGO.

Mam was exposed by journalist Simon Marks in an article released by Newsweek magazine in May of 2014. Marks disclosed that many of Mam's statements were false. Since the disclosures the Somaly Mam Foundation run by American's in America shut down and distanced themselves from Mam. They cut off her funding for her own foundation based in Cambodia. What is telling here is that Americans controlled the money. What is not telling is what happened to the money that was raised that Mam's foundation was cut off from?

The Cambodian government took a giant step stating that they would not permit Mam to run a foundation in Cambodia. That raises the question how will the children under Mam's foundation be cared for? The most notable comments made since the scandal revelation by Marks are other NGO's based in Cambodia are most concerned about their funding suffering from the expose. The comments are mostly regarding their concern for themselves and their jobs, NOT ABOUT THE CHILDREN.

Another point of interest is how UNICEF, the US State Department can persuade film stars to be involved in what has proved to be propaganda. Mira Sorvino's involvement in CNN's Hero's production Every Day in Cambodia was a farce that was praised by the Asian Television Awards for Best Documentary. The CNN film was another contrived piece of work.

In that film Sorvino asked the AIM NGO chief Don Brewster if the child sex traffickers who they were looking at could understand English. His answer was NO. With that information Sorvino went on the say to the traffickers that "It's NOT Okay to sell children, it's not Okay."

The apparent objective was to make her a HERO and get her not understood words to the traffickers on camera. The objective was pointless. It served no purpose but to expose to an intelligent person how much CNN is into sensationalism and what a fool Sorvino is.

Sorvino has a history of being involved with the child sex trafficking subject when she stared in the TV series and film titled Human Trafficking that aired in Asia in 2008. The major problem is this subject matter is REAL.

THE PROBLEM is REAL. THE MAJOR PROBLEM is the SELF-INDULGENT NGO's who lack the street smarts and are ill equipped to deal with the situation. The NGO's and filmmakers are more concerned about their earnings and careers than the child sex victims whom they use as pawns in the quest for money and fame.

According to a Red Light press release published by Business Wire: RedLight Children (RLC) is a grassroots, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization seeking to generate conscious concern and inspire immediate action against child sexploitation and trafficking worldwide. The campaign attacks the demand of child sexploitation, focusing on legislation, enforcement, and the rule of law. RLC's inclusive blueprint charts three phases of attack on this crime against humanity: 1) Raising awareness through feature films, documentaries and education campaigns; 2) Correcting, improving, and enforcing current legislation; 3) Allocating the appropriate resources to mirror the size and scope of the epidemic.

THE QUESTION IS… WHERE'S THE MONEY GOING? The bottom line is… Red Light is a deception and a film that YOU WILL NEVER SEE.

If NGO's did their jobs properly the victims would have been taught credible skills and trades to the child sex victims they supposedly saved which would enable them to become PRODUCTIVE self supporting working citizens and NOT held as hostages or pawns for the purpose of RAISING MONEY.

Those NGO's, schools and individuals that accomplished this task of teaching skills so the victims can support themselves and families on their own are Mith Sam Lanh, DDD, the Don Bosco schools and Bill Herod.

Coming: NGO's raise money and party at the Hamptons with the wealthy socialites in New York City.
