Stefanie Schaeffer From Have Not to HAVE

Season six of The Apprentice initiated some surprises with one being a distinction of the have nots verses the haves. After the first episode the team that lost the task was designated to live in the yard of Trumps Beverly Hills mansion while the winners enjoyed the comforts of a mansion with swimming pool.

As we pointed out last week Stefanie Schaeffer eventually became the Apprentice winner. She was one of the have nots and maintained a low profile until after two defeats her team was split in half to compete against each other in designing a sight seeing tour around Hollywood. She emerged halfway through the task when her teammate was starting to fade after excessive talking to the tourists which was more talk than substance.

The show aired in America last year and is currently being televised in Southeast Asia on the Star World channel. We're revealing the winner so you the viewer can observe how Schaeffer conducted herself and what she did to earn the Apprentice title and a job paying $250,000 a year. So what is Schaeffer made of?

For beginners she was born in Burbank, California May 31, 1974. She was raised in Palm Springs, California and attended the University of California, Riverside with English and psychology as her major. After graduating UC Riverside she attended Southwestern University School of Law in their SCALE program, the only two-year Juris Doctor program in the United States accredited by the American Bar Association Schaeffer and graduated in the top 10% of her class.

The now 34-year-old Schaeffer was selected as a Los Angeles Magazine "Young Rising Star" in 2006 for excellence in law while she worked as a trial attorney for California defense firm Stockwell, Harris, Widom, Woolverton & Muehl. She joined the firm on August 16, 2006, prior to The Apprentice. She defended California employers against workers' compensation, subrogation and discrimination claims, and defended large real estate developers in construction defect litigation. She worked for Goldman, Magdalin & Krikes, LLP. She is a member of the alumni association board of directors at Southwestern Law School.

Schaeffer is the first practicing attorney and the second woman to be hired by Trump. Schaeffer oversaw the Trump at Cap Cana project in Santo Domingo on a 1-year contract (with a starting salary exceeding $250,000 USD) as an owners' representative for Trump at Capcana, and also became the Vice President of sales and marketing for Trump International Hotel & Tower in Las Vegas.

So now you know the rest of the story. The lessons to be learned is what you the viewer can observe in her manner and actions to be number of the 16 candidates for the season six Apprentice title.

NOTES: Last week in episode three Donald Jr. made his first appearance of the season as a board room member who grill and interview the three selected candidates on the loosing team who will be fired. He joins his sister Ivanka who has appeared in all of the first three episodes. This week in episode four Schaffer remains on the have not team and lives in the yard without special treatment. At what point will she emerge from the have nots? Tune in Wednesday nights at 11 PM Singapore/Hong Kong time and 10 PM Thailand/Cambodia on the Star World Network.

SARAH GERONIMO OUR CHOICE

Our favorite Philippine entertainer is Sarah Geronimo. She is no longer a teenager after celebrating her 20th birthday last Friday July 25. She is recognized as a "Role Model for The Youth" and has managed to maintain her dignity and elude the nonsense and sleaze of the Philippine entertainment business where entertainers preach god and flaunt a sexy image as well as being caught up with the insecurity of who is a person's boyfriend or girlfriend.

Geronimo was born in 1988 to parents Delfin Geronimo and Divina Tua-Geronimo. She is the third of four children. After recognizing her gift for entertaining her father had her focus on developing her talent by enrolling her at the "Center for Pop Music, Philippines" at six years of age. He also encouraged her to train at home for two hours each day. A bit of trivia is that Geronimo was the host of the singing contest "Little Big Superstar" where Charice Pempengco, who is now internationally known, was discovered.

Geronimo is also known internationally having appeared in concerts in Taiwan, Canada, Alaska, and Dubai. She also held a The Other Side US Tour" in San Diego, Hanford, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Honolulu, Maui, Washington DC and Atlantic City. She also stayed in Los Angeles, California (USA), to record with Howie D. of Backstreet Boys.

While in the US in November 18, 2006, she was chosen by Philippines' boxing champ Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao to sing the Philippine National Anthem (Lupang Hinirang) preceding his third super featherweight fight encounter against Mexico's Erik "El Terrible" Morales at the UNLV Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
