One could say Don Lemon made a lemon out of his introduction to Elon Musk of what was to be the beginning of the Don Lemon show on the X platform… yes… he made a lemon out of it.

Well Don Lemon asked for it so we did, that is watch what was supposed to be an interview with his future business partner in billionaire extraordinaire Elon Musk.

Lemon prefaced the encounter stating Elon Musk is mad at me. He asked viewers to watch the event and make up their minds as to why Musk was mad at him.

Lemon began the meeting by having Musk verify he was in favor of free speech. Musk asserted that he was to reassure Lemon's several mentions of his position on the matter. Lemon said well that's why we're (the Lemon crew) here.

The former CNN presenter began the encounter with several softball questions which is the typical approach to open a guest up to feel free and comfortable to answer questions.

Following mentioning Musk's Cyber Truck and future Tesla Roadster car plans and ideas. Then Lemon went straight for the juggler. He brought up Musk's meeting with Donald Trump. He pursued Musk in revealing what they talked about. He wanted to know if Trump asked to bail him out of his debts and fund his presidential campaign.

Musk said no to both but he noticed that things were getting personal. He appeared to be uneasy which later came to a head in the meeting.

The subject of what Musk does to relax was another softball question that Musk replied he liked to play video games.

Lemon attacked again by bringing up Musk tweeting about his drug use.

Musk noted that he uses ketamine to "treat a negative chemical state in my brain, like depression" that affects him intermittently.

This is when things got ugly. Lemon pressured Musk about having a prescription bottle signifying how much to take.

At that point Musk had a concerned look on his face. Lemon noticed it and asked if he was uncomfortable about answering these type of questions by reporters.

This was the turning point when Musk looked Lemon sternly in the eye and said he doesn't have to answer questions from any reporter.

At the 30 minute mark Musk told Lemon that the only reason he was doing the interview with him was because he was on the X platform.

This was the sound bite that media referred to when they reported the story that Musk canceled Lemon's show on X.

But the Lemon started then tried to dig himself out of a hole by inserting himself into the queries. From this point on… things really got ugly.
