PASTORE BITES THE DUST ON THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

Vincent Pastore formerly in the hit TV series The Sopranos was put on the spot to take his role in the Sopranos series seriously and be a spy for the men's team on the women's team which had never defeated the men in a task. On this task each team had to come up with a marketing campaign dealing with donating shoes to children in Third World Countries. Piers Morgan was the Project Manager for the men and model Carol Alt for the women.

There was a double motive by the men's Project Manager Piers Morgan a judge on 'America's Got Talent.' Throughout the series he and Pastore never got along therefore Morgan set up Pastore and got him out of the office where they were working. Pastore told the girls that he wasn't happy working with the men and wanted to work with them. They accepted him into their group.

Morgan later told the girls their slogan which alerted them that someone told the men what they were doing and they rightly so accused Pastore who admitted his role but was then on their side and against the men.

Omarosa who was and is a notorious contestant on the Apprentice series then and now called Pastore from the office when Pastore was out with Mary Lou Henner designing their drop box for Croc shoes. Omarosa thought Pastore was her friend but took pleasure in telling him his services were no longer needed.

After Pastore was booted out he went back to Morgan and told him of his displeasure and questioned his integrity by telling the girls he was a spy. They argued and Morgan asked him to leave the room.

The reality is Pastore was playing two ends against the middle and got caught up in lies. Pastore opted to resign rather than continue to argue with Morgan particularly after being set up as a fool. The problem here is this is a reality show and it depicts human behavior. In this case it depicted one of the worst kind… cut-throat.

When Pastore entered the board room Omarosa blurted out, "Here's comes the snitch." If it was love Pastore was looking for he would soon find out that it would be hard come by though he did have some supporters. Donald Trump listened to the men's sad story and couldn't believe what he was hearing. It was the shows first such situation.

The show took on a gangster tone when references were made to The Godfather film with Donald Trump being compared to Vito Corleone and Vincent Pastore being compared to Luca Brasi.

When Donald Jr. asked the men who would they prefer to have on their team Morgan or Pastore born again Christian and actor Stephen Baldwin and recording artist Trace Adkins said Pastore. Lennox Lewis preferred Morgan since he was a key player in the creating and thinking department.

"I'm 61-years-old. I don't want to have a heart attack over him (Morgan), Pastore excitedly told Trump whose eyes widened with disbelief. When Trump asked if he would stay if he fired Morgan Pastore replied yes.

Trump then played the trump card and revealed that the Croc executives liked the men's campaign for their product but they LOVED the girls since they felt it was more complete and included fliers explaining their campaign. They also had a shirt in the giveaway package. Despite the judges concern about the cost of their campaign, they felt the women created the most effective and creative marketing approach.

Trump pointed out that Pastore had two of his fellow teammates who preferred him to be on their team and that Pastore made his decision to resign too soon. He then accepted his recognition.

As they walked out of the boardroom Pastore hugged Morgan and Morgan said, "Nothing personal." (Yea, yea, sure, sure. We're talking about adults here.)

Though he resigned Pastore was the first male to leave the show. Ultimate fighter Tito Ortiz was away for a fight during this episode.

With the win model Alt became the first winning female Project Manager. She received $20,000 for her charity. In addition, since she was project manager for this task, 10,000 pairs of shoes went to Third World Countries in her name.

TOP MODEL SIX EPISODE MARATHON

If you've missed the drama on Tyra Banks Americas Top Model TV show where a transsexual Isis King competed on the program you have a reprieve. A rerun of the first sex episodes will be telecast on Channel V Sunday November 23rd. Also of note is the participation of the first all Asian contestant Sheena Sakai who is half Japanese and Korean. Check your local listings for the time.

King survived being eliminated from Top Model through four episodes. For a bathing suite shoot in episode four King wore three layers of garments under his/her bathing suite bottom to try and hold in his male package. The concern about exposing her/himself showed on his/her face in the pictures. The judges pointed out that he/she wasn't focused on performing for the camera but more so about hiding his/her manhood.
