AMERICA'S INSIDE JOB RIP OFF POLITICAL CIRCUS

As Americans go through the political charade in selecting a president there is a documentary Inside Job that really puts that nations problems into perspective. Inside Job is a 2010 documentary film about the late-2000s financial crisis. The film is about "the systemic corruption of the United States by the financial services industry and its consequences. In five parts, the film explores how changes in the policy environment and banking practices helped create the financial crisis.

The documentary points out the key figures that were responsible for bringing the worlds financial institutions to its knees. Two of the most mentioned in the documentary are Henry Paulson, Jr. (born March 28, 1946) an American banker who served as the 74th United States Secretary of the Treasury. He previously served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs.

The other is Ben Shalom Bernanke born December 13, 1953) an American economist and currently chairman of the Federal Reserve, the central bank of the United States. During his tenure as chairman, Bernanke has overseen the Federal Reserve's response to the late-2000s financial crisis.

The overview is how Paulson was instrumental in being a part of a system while he was COO of Goldman Sachs that set up what is referred to a Ponzi scheme that eventually rocked the financial world. The then president George W. Bush appointed him in 2006.

Paulson and Fed chairman Ben Bernanke asked Congress for $700 billion to bail out the banks. The global financial system became paralyzed. On October 3, 2008, President Bush signed the Troubled Asset Relief Program, but global stock markets continued to fall. Layoffs and foreclosures continued with unemployment rising to 10% in the U.S. and the European Union. By December 2008, GM and Chrysler also faced bankruptcy. Foreclosures in the U.S. reached unprecedented levels.

The elections were in November of that year but Paulson and Bush pushed through the bills in September of 2008 that covered their self interests and left soon to be elected president Barack Obama holding the bag of a financial meltdown that they helped create. Paulson also covered his butt by negotiating deals with the government that he and his associates could not be tried for their some believe to be crimes. They walk away with millions while Americans and people around the world lose their homes and jobs to the extent that some became homeless or having to live in tents.

The negative impact resulting from what these political and business gangsters have done in the name of greed is being felt around the world with Greece currently being ion the news as suffering the most. Their decision making has created a domino effect of international financial disasters. The film points out that there are 3000 lobbyists who pump money and influence into the nations legislators. That equates to 5 lobbyists for every senator or congressman. The political irony being is that Obama is being blamed for what these surly individuals put into place.

Obama won by stating how things were going to change but was thwarted with his attempts by an opposition in the congress and senate. He was going to stop the development of Israel infringing on Palestinian territory. He has not. Since he was elected he has run up against big business that has been depicted in the TV series Prison Beak as the entity which really runs the country.

Big business in the Prison Beak series was identified as THE COMPANY. Big business and the political machine have made a gelding out of Obama during his term in office while in the process of showing him who is the boss. It is a prime example of the keep the nigger down philosophy that has dominated the country since some disgruntled Brits invaded and stole the territory from its indigenous Indian aka Redskins population as well as the territories claimed by France and Spain. That takeover F-U its mine attitude is evident from a financial perspective in the Inside Job documentary.

Prison Break was a fictionalized scenario of business controlling government that could have been based on reality. Inside Job is based on reality and history. It is a must see and gives the viewer the real deal in US politics being run by big business and political gangsters and not by the people.

This documentary is a MUST SEE. Since it is an old released October 8, 2012 your best bet is to rent or purchase the DVD. It has been airing on Pay TV but sparingly.

GLEE PROJECT GOES THE EXTRA MILE

Credit must go to the Glee Project 2 that went the extra mile to accommodate blind Mario Bonds who is blind. The show has completed its season in the USA but is currently airing in its early stages in Asia. Glee Project went the extra mile for Bonds who was eliminated last week by providing the reading material in braille.

The show has been criticized for having an able bodied actor play the role of a wheel chair bound cast member. This season other than Bond the show has another physically challenged contestant wheel chair bound Ali Stroker who did very well in the competition. As not to ruin the viewing for those that want to watch the show without knowing the results we won't reveal how she finished.

Nellie Veitenheimer 20 is the Asian connection on the show. Along with her 2 older brothers, she is adopted. She's is half Korean, half Caucasian. Her brothers are both fully Caucasian and her late sister Jamie, died in January of 2001 after being given a lethal dose of medication for depression was fully Korean.

Her favorite Glee characters are Puck and Santana. During The Glee Project, she is closest to Michael and Blake, but since then s he has become close with a lot of the other contenders.

She has been performing since she was eight years old. Along the way of her training she quit her dance class because of the dress she would have had to wear. She called it "the shortest thing ever," a "glorified tank-top" and "Pink, Pink, and more Pink". She's straight, but doesn't mind if people are mistaken about her sexual orientation.

The shy performer exemplifies the maturation process of young talent when they go out on their own and head for the big entertainment centers of Los Angeles or New York to make their mark and establish themselves in the business while making the transition from a young girl to a woman.

Her experience is on the upswing as she has been performing for eight years and is a vocalist for a local swing band, where she is the youngest member by 20 years. Aside from singing, she also plays piano and guitar, and she writes her own original songs.

Veitenheimer has a strong love for the arts, especially photography, and can often be seen at photo shoots on her weekends off. She is the product of the Internet generation in TV shows recruiting talent as she was discovered for The Glee Project through an online video submission. As many other talents that made it in the business she auditioned for the X-Factor, but did not make it. Simon Cowell, however, said yes and her life goes on.

She thinks being sexy is overrated and thinks appearance doesn't matter and people shouldn't worry about it. She thinks it's important to be yourself and be comfortable with who you are. Life's disappointments impacted her decision making as she used to have long hair, but when she broke up with her boyfriend she cut a lot of it off because he said he liked her hair long. She tweeted that she is now trying to grow it out.

During The Glee Project, she is closest to Michael and Blake, but since then she has become close with a lot of the other contenders. She lived on Tyler and Abraham's couch in LA before moving in with Lily and Aylin, where she lives now.

Her personality shines bright with viewers of the program as she was selected as the Fan Favorite of The Glee Project. Check her out tonight and next week as her elimination will be another closing chapter in her career.

She will be the 7th to be eliminated next week thus those interested in seeing her perform in Asia she will be on tonight's show and her elimination performance will be next week. Nellie also has some videos on her You Tube account including one singing with another contestant Dani Shay who was the third contestant to be eliminated.

Q'VIVA! - THE GOOD NEWS

Although we gave Q'Viva! reality talent show featuring Jennifer Lopez and her estranged husband Marc Anthony a poor rating there is an upside. In their selection of talent they have been very generous in inviting some not so talented applicants to travel to America and continue their audition process in qualifying for the show.

This is a very generous gesture as the travel expenses, lodging and the cost of providing meals and the time and paperwork for visas will be enormous. Many of these hopefuls are indigenous and poor. Should they not qualify for the show the experience of traveling to America and Las Vegas will be an experience of a lifetime. It's as if some of the decisions made by Lopez and Anthony were more of a humanitarian gesture than a true judg3e of talent and that is a good thing. This is a credit to them and the show.
