Video Beat EXTRA EXTRA - CNN's PIERS MORGAN TOPS THE NEWS MAGGOTS AGAIN

When it comes to news there is the real news, agendas and propaganda. This week once again American and British news organizations showed their spots by selectively airing or avoid televising certain news information. Piers Morgan tops the list with another sleazy presentation in attacking US president Barack Obama and Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. CNN and the BBC failed to air Julian Assange addressing the UN via a live video transmission but RT News DID - The new season 21 of Amazing Race is about to begin - Recommended TV Listings

THE MAGGOT FACTOR

This week CNN's Piers Morgan was annoyed on his show that US president Barack Obama had time to appear on the TV talk show The View hosted by Barbra Walters and several other females co-hosts. Morgan complained that other government figures had the time to be on his show and repeatedly denigrated the president in the process.

The reality is a president has more important things to do than be challenged by an individual that bragged that he commissioned a reporter to get a job as a footman for the British royal family so he could dig up dirt on the royals so he could report on his findings. Morgan's boast of such underhanded practices took place when he was editor for Rupert Murdoch's News of the World which has been shut down following their wire tapping scandal in Britain.

Also this week Morgan interviewed Iran president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and tried to bend the interview verbally persecuting the president and repeatedly interrupted him when he was speaking. Ahmadinejad politely requested to reply to Morgan's questions without being interrupted and giving Morgan answers that Morgan wanted to hear.

Morgan's show does not air in real time (as it happens) but is edited. That gives Morgan and his producers the ability to shape the program to be interpreted any way they want in an effort to portray Morgan in a positive light and his guest in the negative as he did when he crucified actor Robert Blake. Morgan enticed Blake who was tried and found not guilty of murdering his wife by asking him to appear on the show to promote his book. After a few softball questions Morgan showed his fangs and for roughly 90% of the remainder of the show attacked Blake regarding the murder of his wife.

In the past former host Larry King interviewed Ahmadinejad twice but was professional enough to air the show in real time. On both occasions King who is Jewish pressed on about Iran's position on Israel. Every time the president made strong arguments regarding his position that sent King back on his heels and the show went to commercials while King was flustered.

Morgan is cozying up to US government reps in what appears to be an attempt to acquire credibility. His sleazy history reveals that he is a maggot of the news/entertainment industry that thrives on the bottom of a garbage pail.

JULIAN ASSANGE ADDRESS the UN

RT News televised Wikileaks founder Julian Assange live video address to the United Nations via a live video link Wednesday September 26. Assange pointed out the human rights abuses and illegal arrests by the United States. His address was followed by the UN representative from Ecuador who was present at the UN as he justified his country giving Assange political asylum.

This was not newsworthy enough for it to be televised by the BBC or CNN. Given that they represent the countries trying to arrest and jail the journalist it reveals the warts and the bias in the news business that side with political interests and fails to report the news. Should Assange be arrested that is the type of story that they would find newsworthy.
