NBA BEAT - THE LeBRON - BRONNY MARONIE JAMES STORY

I never thought that Lakers owner Jeannie Buss would go for agreeing to having Bronny on the Lakers. Apparently, the James family's lawyer Rich Paul again rolled his dice and it came up a winning seven or 11 - NBA's ALL TIME BEST PLAYERS 1st and 2nd TEAMS

THE BEST CASE SCENARIO CAME ABOUT

The LeBron James and his son Bronny playing on the same team at the same time is a nice story that was made in Hollyweird. Let's face it this scenario came about due to LeBron's popularity and the weight he carries with his standout playing career.

There are many more deserving players with more talent that didn't have the chance to fulfill their NBA dream. Basically, it comes down to they were born in the wrong family.

When the LeBron fulfillment dream came about, I went along with it and figured that Cleveland would be the right place for Bronny to play. I even thought that LeBron would insist on a trade to Cleveland and make the trade a package deal. Ironically that is where Bronny made his first shot in an NBA game. Obviously, my envisioned trade never happened.

I never thought that Lakers owner Jeannie Buss would go for agreeing to having Bronny on the Lakers. Apparently, the James family's lawyer Rich Paul again rolled his dice and it came up a winning seven or 11.

Apparently, Buss saw the Hollyweird angle on the deal. Buss is a Hollyweird advocate. When she was trying to build the team by enticing a then in form Carmello Anthony and Kevin Durant to join LeBron she dangled the Hollyweird stars come to their games angle. The sell failed.

It seems Buss is more interested in creating a Hollyweird team environment than building a strong team capable of winning an NBA title. It appears creating a Hollyweird story is the priority.

LeBron continues to amaze with his physical shape and production. He seems to have his conditioning in order, so much so that he could sell his secret. It's his amazing production, at his age, that was a deal clincher.

The reality is the end result is the best scenario for Bronny and LeBron. Bronny will be home with his mother, father and brother. Had he been separated and on another team in another city and my package trade thoughts had come to fruition it would not be as good a situation as it currently is.

Bronny is destined to hone his skills in the G-League. It is expected that he will joining the Lakers for spells from tie to time. The Lakers G-Leage team is in LA. It's a win, win for having access to family.

In media interviews Bronny comes off as a well-disciplined, polite and intelligent individual. Hopefully everything will turn out well for him.

Thus far… it's a nice Hollyweird story. Credit to Buss for swallowing hard and biting the Hollyweird apple.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh as for the title, I keep thinking of the song Boney Maronie when I hear Bronny''s name. NO insult, just a thought.

DID YOU KNOW?

The reason why was Stern felt that it would be a noncompetitive advantage for the Lakers thus he went to the Clippers. During the 2013-14 season he helped the Clippers win a franchise record 57 games.
