BAD BOY WHATCHA GONNA DO?

Hey... he didn't go there to act monkeys for nobody. That's about Travis Kelce that is. His resounding relationship with Taylor Swift continues to go strong. The Lady and the Tramp epic continues to draw fans around the world for both individuals.

After winning the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs the tight end, (Taylor likes tight ends) rented a plane and flew to Australia to see his main squeeze. During her performance Swifty directed a song at him singing he's my man, and the crowd was into it.

It's questionable who has done the most for the other. Both individuals have gone the extra mile for the other.

The NFL has gained female fans from Asia that never watched the American game of football. TV viewership has increased and the game has gained more international popularity. Swifty is largely responsible for that in her fans following her every move. If I was her agent I would negotiate a royalty for her exposure to the game.

On the flip side, although it was not wanted the intrusion be TV cameras on Swift attending the Chiefs games inadvertently brought her BILLIONS of DOLLARS in FREE PUBLICITY.

It's not that she needs its but its happening. Perhaps she should negotiate with the TV and streaming channels that benefited from her unwanted appearances. She's been caught on camera mouthing to, please GO AWAY.

That exposure is similar to the publicity Donald Trump receives, although his is negative. That negative publicity gives him a leg up on ALL challengers in the presidential campaign race in America.

It's not that she needs the money but business is business. The lady is worth over a US $BILLION of DOLLARS. The Tramp, Travis is ONLY worth $30 million dollars. It sucks to be poor… right? Home boy has to step up his game.

To his credit Kelce made the first move in the relationship in tackling Swift buy blasting (whatever that means) her on his podcast that he shares with his brother.

The duo have entered the dynamic duo category. It seems as if it's a romance made in heaven. It's the stuff that movies are made of.

It reminds me of when CNN creator and founder Ted Turner was blasting Hanoi Jane (Fonda) in front of a Cable TV Convention crowd. The windup of that resulted in he reeled her in a later and married her.

Now we don't know if this Swifty, Tramp thing will result in a marriage. Should it happened, it would probably result in Travis having to sign a pre-nup agreement.

Reports are that Swifty is laying down some rules for the relationship to go forward. Firstly she's concerned about his overdoing having a few brews with the boys. Swifty has a carefully constructed squeaky clean image and reputation that his all man conduct might result in soiling it a bit.

The other issue is she prefers that Travis communicate with her on FACE TIME so she can see what kind of company he's keeping. Having the goils in the background doesn't fly in the squeaky clean world.

Both have gone the extra mile in supporting each other. Travis rents jet planes to visit her on her world tour. He's last been seen in South America. Private plane rentals aren't cheap but he can afford it. The reality is it can chew up into his $30 Mil worth. Yea, yea, sure, sure we know he thinks she's worth it.

Shifty made the ultimate sacrifice when she made a privet jet trip from Japan immediate following doing a show. She landed in LA since the Vegas airport had some space availability problems due to the Super Bowl attracting the wealthy that OWNED jets or rented them. Yeow…what a problem to have... to us little folk.

She then traveled by road to Vegas which is a five hour trip. Now that's a commitment.

Hey… as they say all's fair in love and… we won't go there since we have enough of that stuff going on already.

The bottom line is Swifty seems to be creating the greatest entertainment interest since the Beatles. I don't recall if the Beatles had a concert in South America but Swifty does.

Swifty has the right stuff and Travis is lucky to have tackled her. The question is can he hold on as SWIFTY CRACKS THE WHIP?

THIS DAY IN THE NBA

February 27, 1955 Boston beat Milwaukee 62-57 at Providence, Rhode Island in a game which set a record for fewest points scored by both teams since the introduction of the 24-second clock.

February 27, 1959 Boston Celtics star Bob Cousy dished off for what was then an NBA record 28 assists in a 173-139 win over Minneapolis, the highest scoring game in NBA history at that time. Boston’s 173 points is still the record for a non-overtime game, a mark that was matched by Phoenix in 1990. Scott Skiles of Orlando set the NBA single-game assist record of 30 on December 30, 1990. Cousy’s record of 19 assists in one half has stood for more than 40 years.

February 27, 1996 The Bulls defeated Minnesota 120-99 at the United Center and improved to 50-6, reaching 50 wins with the fewest losses in a season of any major professional sports team (NBA, NHL, NFL, MLB) this century.

February 27, 1998 The Indiana Pacers defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 124-59. The 65-point margin of victory is the second-largest in NBA history, outpaced only by the 68-point margin when Cleveland defeated Miami 148-80 on December 17, 1991.

February 27, 1999 Los Angeles Clippers broadcaster Ralph Lawler works his 1,500th Clippers game in a game against the Atlanta Hawks.

February 27, 1999 The Golden State Warriors, with a 110-93 defeat of Denver, became the seventh franchise in NBA history to register 2,000 victories. The Warriors' mark includes the triumphs posted by the Philadelphia Warriors (1946-62) and San Francisco Warriors (1962-71).
