Nate Diaz is near the end of his rope. A fitting finale would be a trilogy fight with Conor McGregor - (Streetice00 - photo)

Conor McGregor didn't dominate Nate Diaz in their first two fights. A trilogy fight is fitting for both. - ( Finish Line - photo)

SPORTS NOTES EXTRA - UFC's NATE DIAZ FIASCO should = TRILOGY with CONOR McGREGOR

UFC boss Dana White reasons that Diaz has won only one fight in the past six years. HE'S WRONG! In the past six years little Nate has won TWO including that thrilling smashing of Conor McGregor. In their rematch five months later he lost in a majority decision. This rematch trilogy would DRAW INTEREST and $ - NBA's ALL TIME BEST PLAYERS 1st and 2nd TEAMS

LET'S GET IT ON

The UFC seems to be in a big fuss with Nate Diaz. Diaz wants a fight SOON but the UFC is reluctant to schedule one since he has won only one fight in the last six years. Apparently Diaz has caught the Anderson Silva disease. The reality is that the 37-year-old fighter is at the end of his career. He looked bad in his most previous fights and appears to be on the verge of being punch drunk.

Drunk or not Diaz wants a fight and looks to fight Jake Paul in one of those circus like events that has grown in appeal and pays its fighters BIG BUCKS. USC boss Dana White says that's not gonna happen at least for a year since Diaz is under contract.

White reasons that Diaz has won only one fight in the past six years. HE'S WRONG! In the past six years little Nate has won TWO including that thrilling smashing of Conor McGregor. In their rematch five months later he lost in a majority decision.

The flip side to that is McGregor's recent career hasn't been so stellar. Since defeating Diaz in 2016 the Irishman also only has two wins and three losses. His wins over Eddie Alvarez and the ancient now 39-year-old Cowboy Cerrone weren't so spectacular. .

The fight to make is a TRILOGY DIAZ, McGregor catch weight FIGHT. That would be interesting and would draw as a pay per view given the right publicity. It's about the proud Mexicans against the proud Irishmen. Whatever the outcome that should be Diaz's last UFC fight.

At present Diaz is supposed to be worth $8 million. Whatever he makes in a McGregor fight and a circus fight with Jake Paul should be enough. He has been a great fighter to listen to and watch. For the sake of his health he should retire and train fighters after a McGregor TRILOGY.

PROPS TO THE UFC's DANA WHITE

You have to respect the brilliance of UFC boss Dana White. He was the first to have the balls to put on an event during the COVID crisis. Other followed his lead and due diligence in instituting rigid rules for a fighter to be healthy enough to fight.

White displayed BIGGER BALLS when he PERMITS RUSSIAN fighters to compete. Other sports entities are denying Russian athletes to compete as if faulting them for the Russian militaries invasion of Ukraine.

Athletes HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH A NATIONS WAR DECISIONS and White is INTELLIGENT enough to understand that thus giving Russian fighters the opportunity to compete and EARN A LIVING.
