SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE

When Asia's Next Top Model failed to telecast for two weeks it was clear that something had gone very wrong. Star World promoted on air that the show would return April 2nd with the missing episode 11 in which model Nicole Lee 24 from Singapore was eliminated. That notice has been changed to it won't be shown at all.

We took our sample of the information posted on March 29th and the following day March 30th. Within 24 hours the producers vacillated on what they would do. Posted March 29: the information said the missing episode was to be aired April 2, 2014. The within the same notification it read: Episode 11: The Girl Who's Epic. First to be aired April 2, 2014. The following episode was also originally scheduled to air on March 19 2014 but due to the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 incident it was postponed. The producers of the show later decided to omit the episode altogether to respect the people affected by the tragedy. The show picked up with the top four episode just before the finale.

Posted March 30: One planned episode was originally scheduled to air on March 19, 2014 due to the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 incident, and was postponed. The producers of the show later decided to omit the episode altogether to respect the people affected by the tragedy. The show picked up with the top four episode just before the finale.

From the first episode Lee stood out when she wrote house rules dealing with cleanliness for the other models to follow and placed them with post notes on the refrigerator. The models reaction was one of indifference.

In another episode Lee lost the plot losing her temper in a fit if rage struck a wall with her fist and yelled at the cameraman to get the camera out of her face. Throughout the series Lee was making more enemies than friends but not in an extreme sense. Some questioned her having emotional issues to deal with and brought their concerns to her attention.

On her social media page Lee posted on February 18: Just want to say, thank you to everyone who has supported me due to this show, outside this show and even before this show has happened. I hope I won't disappoint you guys after the show. And a small announcement, I am incredibly upset with the portrayal of my character in the show. I will not watch anymore episodes after the next upcoming episode.

Lee did well in the competition finishing in the top 3 five times in the first eight episodes including one 1st place finish and was 2nd twice. With two weeks of missing programming including Lee's elimination, it was clear that something was in the air.

The show has one flamboyant openly gay judge that has too much to say with very little substance. He stated that he felt that he couldn't enjoy work with model Josephine again which was an unkind and over the top critique. It raises the question did he have something to do with an outburst on the missing Lee episode. Excuse us but we're applying the CNN method of speculative reporting.

Information was released that the missing episode 11 in which Lee was eliminated was due to the show respecting the still missing Malaysian airplane. The show in part is sponsored by Malaysian Airlines. The problem is that the information doesn't make sense. Last week on air promotions said the show would air with the TOP 5 MODELS featuring Jodilly, Katarina, Marie, Nicole, and Sheena participating in a photo shoot for Malaysia Airlines. The off air promotions then changed to: After the show took two weeks off to prolong the gap between the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 incident and the airing of the episode, the producers of the show decided to omit the episode entirely to respect those affected by the tragedy.

The previews for the episode following episode 10 only featured Jodilly, Katarina, Marie, and Sheena. Sheena's photograph could still be seen as the 'photo of the week' banner for the episode that wasn't aired. The season picked up again with the top four episode just before the finale. (To correct this information it should read WILL PICK UP AGAIN).

Throughout Lee's time on the show she had emotional outbursts but the key to her personality is that she deeply cared for others particularly good people. Since we have yet to hear the real story from her of why she was dismissed there can only be speculation. If the truth comes out from Lee that is negative to the show her career could be squashed by the powers that be. Basically it's a wait and see scenario.

The shows Official Sponsors include * Malaysia Airlines * Kuala Lumpur International Airport * Tourism Malaysia * Ministry of Tourism Malaysia * Harian Metro Kuala Lumpur (New Straits Times Press) * Maxis Communications * Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Kuala Lumpur * Prudential Insurance Life Kuala Lumpur * LG Electronics Kuala Lumpur * Proton Automobile Malaysia * TRESemmé (Unilever Kuala Lumpur) * JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur

With all due respect we feel that something is wrong with this picture given that so many of the sponsors are from the Malaysian government. We believe that it's not respect that is being addressed but covering one ass within the production and has noting to do with the missing Malaysian airline. Apparently something happened in episode 11 with Lee that the show doesn't want to reveal. The plane remains missing but the show will go on without a mysteriously missing episode 11.

The other factor is the money the other sponsors paid for their advertising for X amount of episodes is apparently being ignored. Tune in tonight on Star World to see the now TOP 4 remaining models and to hear how Asia's Next top Model explains itself out of their embarrassing dilemma.
