Video Beat - RT NEWS LOST THE PLOT

James Loving - National Radio Text Service

For the US government to deny its citizens their right to know IS WRONG. Isn't denying its citizens their constitutional rights a form of communism? How hypocritical can a government be when it continually breaks international laws and use its citizen taxpayer's money to pursue wars? For those that want to know, Russia's RT News offers their perspective on issues. RT is not perfect and make mistakes. The value is observing what the other side thinks. US citizens have the right to know

TUNNEL VISION SENDS THE WRONG MESSAGE

Tuesday January 10, 2023

Nothing and no one is perfect which is the case with RT News. No doubt we monitor Russia's RT News because we believe in free speech and are against agenda censorship. With the US government forbidding its citizens from listening to the perspectives of their chosen enemies it sends up a red flag that says WHY NOT GO SEE WHAT THEY ARE DENYING US.

Politicians in the US government take liberties in making statements of the American people want this or that. The problem being many disagree with what politicians say Americans want. The most important thing is an individual utilizing the right of free speech to determine for their selves what they prefer to think and want. With that attitude we watch RT agreeing with many of their opinions and perspectives BUT NOT ALL, and came upon opinions that conflict with their narratives.

Their perspective was trying to make a point that the US government support some regime change riots and not others. Their point is not well taken because their emphasis is trying to compare an irrational riot to those that are not. They stated that the US government supported riots in Venezuela that supported a regime change to insert their puppet candidate Juan Guaido to be the recognized president of Venezuela. Guaido wasn't elected by the people Brazil's Lu La da Silva was.

The rioting came a week after President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, widely known as Lula, was sworn in. Lu La is not a selected puppet of the US government.

Their (Joe Biden) support of him appears to be a plot to have him be an ally of the US. He was elected largely by the people that weren't recognized by the ex-President Jair Bolsonaro's administration. The comparison with Venezuela doesn't make sense since the two confrontation's objectives are polar opposites. One is to remove an elected president while the other is to insert a nonelected puppet of the US government.

RT appears to be trying to focus too much on the US governments supporting riots in some countries and not others. They suggest that there is some sort of preferential treatment going on. RT lost the plot with their assertions since it's not about some countries it's about what is right verses what is wrong. The USG discriminates but, in this case, they got it right.

RT journalist Murad Gadziev got it wrong with his opinions. He points out the Facebook will censor any content that promotes violence in Brazil. His opinion is that content removal is in contrast to freedom of speech. He infers that the coverage of the rioters in the US on the Capitol on January 6 was in America's national interest. He denounces tech companies that censor posts. His perspectives conflict and doesn't make sense.

It's not unfair to support Lu La he was elected by the people and NOT PROPPED UP BY THE US government as was Guaido who has recently lost all support and pushed out of his organization.

RT's web site reported: Opposition lawmakers in Venezuela have voted to dissolve the 'interim government' formed under their one-time leader, Juan Guaido, a main rival to the country's ruling socialist party and once a darling of the US foreign policy establishment.

Some of RT's perspectives don't make sense. No sense is nonsense. In doing so their focus on tearing the US government down with this issue only reveals they are being overbearing in not thinking things through therefore making them less trustworthy.

RT's reports on supporting Russia's actions makes sense as does American news outlets support of their and the Ukrainian's side. It is interesting to see and hear what they think and have to say.

Like the US media outlets RT use a lot of their air time on African issues. Africans are more accepting of the Russian government than the US. The Russian government have been giving them help. The contrast is the US government talks a lot and does nothing.

What RT does well is report more accurately on how the Israeli government treats the Palestinian people. They show the physical brutality and bullying from Israel's military and police. They also report on the arrogance of Israeli government politicians. Those issues are ignored by American news media that are Zionist compliant.

The following day January 10, what stood out on RT news were the comments of German citizens criticizing their government supplying weapons to the Ukraine. A man said, it's a perverted logic to achieve peace by supplying war machines to the Ukraine. He added that he doesn't know who it helps anyone else but the arms industry. I don't know what's wrong with their minds.

A young lady said, she was not a fan of the way Germany is handling the issue of arms supplies. I know that's there's a huge market for this but I don't the way we are handling this in such a strong way. I think that money might be more important than the opinion of the people.

A follow up report on the demonstrations in Brazil RT pundits noted that if the riots were in Cuba. China or Venezuela the US media and government would be supporting the uprisings.

The bottom line is RT presents a different perspective that has value. One doesn't have to agree with RT's reports. The value is knowing what the US government's designated enemies think. What's wrong with that? As the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

In the case of opposite opinions some say listen to all sides and THE TRUTH IS SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE.
