The 51-year-old Abdu Akleh was killed while covering Israeli army raids in the city of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank. Shireen was wearing press vest with body armor so they targeted her face and she died instantly. It boggles the mind why main stream media refuse to cover up the atrocities that are committed by Israeli police and military. CNN which we refer to as the voice of Israel made a short report on the death of Shireen. Many other news channels did the same but…. there was no follow up and the persecution of Palestinians by Israeli's remains ignored

When one considers that the US government contribute over $3 billion to Israel for their defense the spineless bastards choose Palestinians whose land their stealing. In essence the US taxpayer is supporting illegal wars, invasions and thefts.

The mordacity of it all is on May 11 Israeli forces selected a Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh to murder. The 51-year-old Abdu Akleh was killed while covering Israeli army raids in the city of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank. Shireen was wearing press vest body armor so they targeted her face and she died instantly. Abu Akleh, who was a dual Palestinian-American national, was one of Al Jazeera's first field correspondents, joining the network in 1997.

Al-Samoudi and other journalists at the scene said there were no Palestinian fighters present when the journalists were shot, directly disputing an Israeli statement referencing the possibility that it was Palestinian fire. Shatha Hanaysha, a local journalist who was standing next to Abu Akleh when she was shot, also told Al Jazeera that there had been no confrontations between Palestinian fighters and the Israeli army. She said the group of journalists had been directly targeted. Palestinian MP Khalida Jarrar said that Abu Akleh was the voice of Palestinians and was killed by "the monstrosity of Israeli colonialism and occupation".

The chicken shit Israeli Prime Minister 50-year-old Naftali Bennett said there would be NO INVESTIGATION on the matter. It must be noted that when Bennett was running for Prime Minister he stated that his government would by 10% to the right of the then Benjamin Netanyahu regime. He won with his hateful promises and his not looking into Shireen's murder is a prime example of how cowardly and corrupt the Israeli government is. Their boldness is largely due to the staunch support of the US government. Without that support would render Israeli's as geldings.

In February 2012, Bennett published a plan to manage the Israeli-Palestinian conflict called "The Israel Stability Initiative." The plan was based in part on elements of earlier initiatives, such as "Peace on Earth" by Aid Mints and the "Elon Peace Plan" by Binyamin Elon. It relied on statements of Netanyahu and Likud party ministers in favor of unilateral annexation of the West Bank. Bennett opposed the creation of a Palestinian state, saying: "I will do everything in my power to make sure they never get a state."

One individual carrying the casket was swinging his arm to protect himself from being beaten and dropping the casket. That individual was arrested and jailed.

Recently Israeli youths were rallying with Israeli flags on their Flag Day. Each year, thousands of Israeli far-right groups participate in the parade, waving Israeli flags and singing songs as they pass through the narrow streets of the Old City's Muslim quarter. The march is meant to celebrate Israel's capture of occupied East Jerusalem in the 1967 war. Israel subsequently annexed the area in a move that is not internationally recognized.

Hundreds of far-right Jewish nationalists entered Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, ahead of a provocative flag march that could re-ignite confrontations between Israelis and Palestinians. Israeli police have repeatedly stormed the compound, often firing rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades at Palestinian demonstrators, injuring hundreds.

The Jews maniacal rage in their continued theft of Palestinian land went to the extreme when Al Jazeera's offices in the Gaza Strip, in a building that also housed the Associated Press, were bombed by Israeli forces during an offensive a year ago, and Palestinian and international journalists say they have been regularly targeted by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem.

On Flag Day the Israelis prevented Palestinian journalists and photographers from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque and threatened them with arrest. Israeli forces fired rubber bullets at Palestinians protesters in the compound, in an effort to disperse them. At least 18 Palestinians were arrested from within occupied East Jerusalem's Old City, Israeli police said.

Previous marches have included Israeli chants of "Death to Arabs" and the attacking of Palestinian homes and shops in the Old City. Other chants used by the settlers directed at Palestinians include "may your village burn" and "a second Nakba is coming" - referring to the 1948 ethnic cleansing of at least 750,000 Palestinians by Zionist paramilitaries.

Some Jews entering the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound attempted to pray, incensing Palestinians. Jewish worship is not permitted in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound by Israeli law, and it is also forbidden by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. However, some far-right Israelis believe that they should be allowed to pray in an effort to upend the delicate status quo.

To further ignite the intrusion calls by far-right Israelis for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock to be replaced with a Jewish temple. Israeli forces erected metal barriers and prevented Palestinian access to Damascus Gate, the main entrance to the Old City. Palestinian Authority spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh said Israel considers itself above the law.

It's annoying to listen to Palestinian media types pleading for help from the International community. What they are foolishly ignoring is that it is the International community politicians that took the wealthy ZIONIST Jews money AND SOLD THEM OUT. What is required is to speak from the position of strength and stop whining. Find a solution and stop begging the International community doesn't give a damn.

Ironically Natalie Portman came to mind this month. While channel surfing I came across a round table event on You Tube of actors in which Portman was involved. I've been aware that Portman was born in Israel and supports her government. The reality is as we all grow older and wiser our thinking changes.

After listening her thoughts and obvious growth as a woman from the 12-year-old girl that starred in the film Leon: The Professional it was interesting to see how she has matured and is more aware of who she is and how that applies to lives in the world.

The Academy Award winner for Best Actress for her performance in Black Swan the now 40-year-old Portman says that Leon is the film that most people relate her to. It was her first film and she owned it as a talent. She also has expressed regrets of being sexualized and a young girl in that film. But she has grown to have some opinions of her Israeli government.

While a student at Harvard University, Portman wrote a letter to The Harvard Crimson in response to an essay critical of Israeli actions toward Palestinians. She has nevertheless criticized the Israeli government, specifically Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Portman was critical of Netanyahu's re-election in 2015, saying she was "disappointed" and often found his comments racist.

In November 2017, Portman was announced as the Genesis Prize recipient for 2018, which includes $2,000,000 in prize money. The following April, Portman announced that she did not plan to attend the awards ceremony scheduled for June, citing "recent events in Israel" that left her feeling uncomfortable attending public events there. The ceremony was canceled. Portman further clarified that she was not boycotting Israel, explaining that she did not want to "appear as endorsing" Netanyahu, who was to give a speech at the ceremony.

To get off a grim topic we refer to Portman's work. Leon was her best work considering that it was her first acting job and she was so young to be such a commanding character. As an adult we found her performance in The Other Boleyn Girl to be superb. She was so strong as a vileness character that it is infectious.
