GOOD IS NO GOOD ON THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE - FINCH PINCHED

Yea, yea, sure, sure as they say good guys finish last and that is exactly what happened to good girl Jennie Finch an Olympic Gold medal winner as a softball pitcher for the USA in the Greece and Beijing Olympics. The Donald (Trump that is) concluded that Finch was too nice a girl to be in his world of business where cutthroat people thrive.

Finch was the fourth lady to be eliminated as the men maintained their undefeated record now extended to 4-0 over the overmatched women. In the board room Finch noted that the men were superior and functioned well as a team whereas the women had talent but where too vocal and individualistic. When Trump asked Finch who she thought he should fire she was reluctant to name anyone therefore influencing Trump's decision that she was too timid for business. He added that she was a nice girl and not to change and continue to be herself and maintain her values. He said he liked her world better.

For the men former boxing champion Lennox Lewis continued to be the men's marquee celebrity when it came to promoting their cause. He was stellar as an actor for a dog food commercial two weeks ago and this time starred as the main draw at a booth on the streets of New York City where the teams where selling a package of four tickets to Broadway shows.

Former UFC mixed martial arts champion Tito Ruiz continued to impress with his level headed thinking and when asked he gave the proper credit where it was due for the teammate he felt contributed the most to their success. Given his exposure on the UFC events as a fighter he never had a chance to display his intelligence. On the Celebrity Apprentice he stands out above all other competitors in that department.

The despised Omarosa continues to be the fly in the ointment s she again took on former super model Carol Alt by calling her out and trying to place all the blame for the women's loss on her. This is the second time in four weeks she has rained on Alt's parade.

For the Soprano TV show lovers tune in this coming week Wednesday November 13th (in Southeast Asia) as former Soprano star Vinnie Pastore will be the centerpiece of the show and eventually depart the program. Why? Good question. The back stabbing cutthroat environment of the Celebrity Apprentice is the primary reason. A notable point of interest is that Pastore was the Project Manager in the men's win. Actress Mary Lou Henner was the losing Project Manager.

NOTE:

Former UFC mixed martial arts champion Tito Ruiz won as Project Manager.

A new episode airs Wednesday night on the Star World Channel.

The contestants include famous talent from sports, recording artist, actress and models.

The contestants include:

* Trace Adkins - recording artist

* Carol Alt - model

* Stephen Baldwin - actor

* Nely Galán - Entertainment business executive

* Marilu Henner - actress

* Lennox Lewis - former heavyweight boxing champion

* Omarosa - controversial former Apprentice contestant

* Tito Ortiz - former UFC champion (Ultimate Fighting Championships)

* Vincent Pastore - actor 'The Sporanos'

* Jennie Finch - Olympic Gold medal winner - Fired week 4

* Gene Simmons - formerly of the rock group KISS and currently of his own reality TV show Gene Simmons & His Family Jewels. - Fired week 3

* Nadia Comaneci - Olympic Gold medal winner - Fired 2nd week

* Tiffany Fallon - Playboy Playmate/Miss Georgia USA 2001 - Fired 1st week

AMAZING RACE USA FRESS PASS

When you hear the host of either Amazing Race show albeit the USA version or Asian when the words MAY be eliminated or WILL be eliminated that indicates the producers have choice who they want to continue in the race. If you're liked you would most likely be told, "This is a pre determined NON ELIMINATION leg of the race."

There are only so many free passes which can be used given the amount of contestants and the number of episodes. This past week former NFL football player Ken Hill and his estranged wife Tina finished last at the pit stop in India. This was their worst finish after finishing first three weeks in a row. They were rightfully given a non elimination decision. The couple are working together to try and heal a failed relationship where Ken feels guilty about cheating on his wife. Throughout the program Tina continually talks to him in a demanding and caustic way. It is easy to see why they are having problems.

So on it goes on the USA version of the program where only five teams remain for the final three spots that will fight it out for the final and the US $1 million prize.

NOTE

As a sidebar to this story is the Cambodian Ministry of Tourism said they were approached by the producers of the show about visiting Cambodia and Siem Reap. The conversation took place in August and the program aired last week. With only a two month turnaround it indicates that the producers of this show definitely know what they are doing regarding coordinating the logistics, tasks and travel arrangements of the production team as well as editing the program. This is a huge task. In addition the video must be reviewed, timed and edited within a very short window in time for the air date. The production staff are on a race of thier own.

AMAZING RACE ASIA DOWN TO THE FINAL FOUR

There must be a god as Singapore's A.D. and Fuzzie finished last in this past weeks show. The reason being is that they were U Turned at a Detour task by the most detested team remaining in the race Tish and her boyfriend Geoff who are representing the Philippines.

A U-Turn is when a team that reached it first can place a picture of a team THEY THINK are behind them and make them do the other of two Detour tasks they didn't do thus making them tired and adding to their time of finish. If the team's picture that they place for the U-turn is ahead of them then it amounts to nothing and a waste of making the one time only per team use of selecting someone. That also applies to the Yield option.

This is their second villainous deed as they previously yielded Bernie and her brother Henry from Malaysia. That experience heated up their dislike for each other with the result being Bernie and Henry were eliminated in the following episode.

This time A.D and Fuzzie were the benefactors of a pre-determined non-elimination leg of the race. That means all of the non-elimination free passes have been given out and this coming new episode Thursday night on AXN will determine who will be the final three teams to fight it out for the title and a cash US $100,000 prize.

This is the second time since the race began nine episodes ago the A.D. didn't chew gum. When she doesn't chew gum they have bad luck and don't do well.

One team will be eliminated this week. The odds and apparent personal connections of the other Malaysian team of Ida and Tanya who received two consecutive no-elimination leg free passes seem to be the producer's favorite. We're rooting for the underdog A.D. and Fuzzie with our second choice being the Honk Kong team of Sam and Vince.

Thursday night is where it all happens on AXN so be there or be square (sorry about that). Repeats of this past week's episode will air through Wednesday. Please note the schedule below..

AMAZING RACE ASIA DOWN TO FINAL 4 - PRODUCERS HOLD ONE MORE TRUMP CARD

Only four teams remain as the Malaysian team of Bernie and her brother Henry were eliminated this past week. A missed changing flight connection from Hong Kong to India sent them to the back of the pack and they never caught up. Their nemesis Tish and Geoff who represent the Philippines were the first team to arrive at the pit stop for the second consecutive week.

Geoff seems to be toning down his act since Tish let him know that she was getting annoyed by his disrespectful behavior. With one more non elimination leg of the race remaining the producers of the show have one more unused trump card when they can manipulate who will be the final three teams to fight it out for the US $100,000 first prize.

Actress Ida and heiress Tania seem to be the producers choice to be in the final three since they previously finished last two consecutive weeks and were honored with those famous words by host Alan Wu, "This is a pre determined non elimination leg of the race."

This past week they finished third after waiting out a 30 minute penalty for their punishment for their previous weeks last place finish.

Our favorites A.D. and Fuzzie are still huffing and puffing their way to the final three when they finished second in the last race. Fuzzie is a handicap since she is carrying a lot of weight and as she says, "Fuzzie doesn't do physical stuff."

The good news is A.D. started chewing gum again in the last race after not doing so the previous week. Our concern is the she is being harassed by Singapore's chewing gum police for giving the city/country a bad image. We say chew on to victory A.D. and Fuzzie.

A new episode of the show airs Thursday nights on AXN with repeats throughout the week, please note the schedule below.

AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL

Oh my!!! Revelations, revelations, revelations. This past week Tyra Banks revealed on her America's Top Model show that when she was 20/21 she and her mother were told by European fashion agents that since Banks was all of a sudden growing a large booty (butt) and her busts were busting out all over that if she wanted to be booked by high fashion designers in Europe that she need to lose 15 pounds.

Her mother took the news graciously and stood by her daughters surprise late development as said 'NO" and ordered a pizza.

The next step was a career move for Banks as she then entered the world of Victoria Secret and became one of their top models. She also was the first black model to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated's swim suite edition.

For those unaware this edition of America's Top model features an Asian contestant as well as the shows' first male contestant who Banks found as an extra at one of her video tapings last season. When she found the girl was really a boy she was still so impressed with the he/she's talent that the individual was invited to appear on the program.

Since being on the show some of the girls have been quite vocal of their disapproval of a man being on the show. Some have criticized him. The result was they were eliminated from the program though their attitude towards him was not stated as the cause.

For those interested in what this he/she looks like this week's episode (Sunday night on Channel V in Southeast Asia) will be the last opportunity to see what the fuss is all about as the he/she will be eliminated

MISSING PERSONS

MISSING PERSONS is an interesting show on the Australia Network. A new episode is presented Thursday nights. The program consists of real life investigations in finding missing persons. During one episode they search for several individuals. What makes this show a bit more interesting is they follow an individual and before finding them they cut to another. They eventually return to the first person searched for. This interlacing of cases prevents boredom as a viewer may be interested in one case over the other and will stay with the program until they find out if the person is found or not. A read on the Australian culture and how they think is another interesting aspect of the program. On a five star rating we rate this as a 3 star *** as a must watch.
