WHO WILL BE THE BEST TALENT COACH?

The Voice singing talent show has entered its second stage where the judges Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton start to mentor the 8 talents each have selected to coach. Of the 32 contestants only one will win a $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Republic.

A new episode of the show airs in East Asia on Sunday nights with repeats on Monday and Tuesday on the AXN Network. Last week they only aired one hour of the two hour show on the repeat days. Like American that can change as there are fewer contestants thus relieving the time constraints of the program.

Many of the contestants have had previous professional recording and performing experience that failed to take them to reaching star status.

Each team of singers is mentored and developed by its respective coach. In the second stage, called the battle phase, coaches have two of their team members' battle against each other directly by singing the same song together, with the coach choosing which team member to advance from each of four individual "battles" into the first live round. Within that first live round, the surviving four acts from each team again compete head-to-head, with public votes determining one of two acts from each team that will advance to the final eight, while the coach chooses which of the remaining three acts comprises the other performer remaining on the team.

Green was partial to selecting females for his team and was often teased about his eye for the ladies. He and Aguilera were the first to select their team of eight. Levin and Shelton were the last to select their teams. All had the same opportunity in listing to the artists with their backs turned so they couldn't be influenced by their looks but only their voice. To say they were interested in the talent they pushed a button to turn around their sat and see who they chose. When more than one judge presses the button that they're interested in the talent the contestant becomes the decision maker as to who they wanted to be their mentor.

Most but not all country artist chose to be with Shelton. Females primarily chose to be with Aguilera while Green and Levine drew a mixed bag. In some case the contestants asked the judges what they saw in their talent that they should choose them to be their teacher.

Now it's down to two musician/recording artists Levine and Shelton verses two recording artists as who will be the best advisers. Who will be the best coach and have their talent win the contest? Tune in and find out on The Voice on the AXN Network. Please note the schedule BELOW...
