Our fastest riser was our report examining how Democracy is applied in Cambodia with the continued abuse of its people. Tuesday July 31, 2012 - Update Friday August 03, 2012

THE CARNAGE CONTINUES

The month started slow beat heated up when our column regarding the American Idol Abortion this past season featuring the cheerleading judge Jennifer Lopez. We opined that changes were in order. Changes came about week earlier when Lopez and fellow judge

announced that they would not return for another season. Tyler was the most sincere of the judges that was overblown with self praise and promotions. Idol's problems and declining ratings are cancerous and there are more removal operations necessary. A complete house cleaning is the antidote.

CNN's prize loud mouth Piers Morgan took the second spot. We examined the devious ruthless methods he applied in interviewing actor Robert Blake. Blake agreed to appear on the show to talk about his book. After a few softball questions about Blake's child acting success Morgan shifted into overdrive and began chipping away at Blake's amour regarding the murder of his wife. The softball to hardball technique is commonly practiced in the journalism business. Morgan was like a vampire sinking his fangs into Blake's neck and sucked out all of his blood regarding the subject.

The tactic was unfair. The sleazy manner in which it was done revealed Morgan's and CNN's true colors as being sensationalists. Blake was annoyed by the tactic and voiced his displeasure. Morgan had the advantage having a more superior education and vocabulary against a largely uneducated and an individual who was abused and abandoned as a child. It was a mental slaughter that Morgan is proud of but it would be more appropriate if he bowed his head in shame,

Overall our television and sports coverage each took 4 spots on this months chart. Our Phnom Penh column took two. Our fastest riser was our Phnom Penh column report examining how Democracy is applied in Cambodia with the continued abuse of its people. That soared on to the charts with 24 hours from our sample taken July 31st and is ranked 7th.

This story recorded one of the strongest responses in our 15 year Internet history. The key to the story are the links to You Tube videos showing the Cambodian police and private security guards beating their fellow citizens. Their crime was trying to protect the demolition of their homes since the government granted their land to private foreign interests and high ranking government officials resulting in them selling out their people and country resulting in the rich are getting richer and the poor getting poorer and more oppressed. The VIDEO LIINKS regarding four of the You Tube videos on these subjects are a MUST SEE.

One of the victims of the police attack against the people trying to protect their homes in Phnom Penh was kicked in the stomach and he lost her two month old unborn child. The policeman that was responsible asked if she was young and he then made an inference that he was available for baby making. The young woman is suing the officer for the loss of her child.

NBA sensation Jeremy Lin continues to maintain interest. We followed up our LIN SANITY FEVER IS OVER column with THE KNICKS SHOE DIDN'T FIT JEREMY LIN'S FOOT which grabbed immediate interest on notching the 6th spot within a week of it being published. It was one of our fastest risers of the month.

In a strange twist our Sports Notes column IS MANNY PACQUIAO AWOL returned to the charts in the 9th position after dropping off the charts last month. Our oldest entry is a football story that preceded America's professional football NFL Super Bowl title TOM BRADY tries to defy MANNING FAMILY MATTERS.

This column traces back to several stories regarding the success of the Manning football family. The father Archie who suffered with losing teams throughout his career fathered two children Payton and Eli who redeemed their father's sufferings in leading their teams to three Super Bowl titles.

SECTIONS MOST VISITED

There are three new entries in our sections most visited category. Cambodia Sports returns having been absent since May but jumped on the charts to command the 1st position. Why the interest is s puzzle as we have ignored the masked problems that exist on this topic.

There are some major problems that we will report on in the future regarding their most celebrated and meddled champion track star being denied to represent Cambodia in the Olympics. Again politics enter into the decision making. What is most annoying is the Cambodian Olympic Committee wanted a wealthy Japanese runner living in Cambodia to represent them although he can't beat the denied Cambodian born athlete and IS NOT A CITIZEN. More we file a more in depth on this subject in a future column.

China returns after dropping off the charts for several months. The Business section made its presence known in a return to the charts notching the 2nd spot. Most of the other sections made very little movement with the greatest change being two upward positions.

Of note the NBA 2011 section made a strong move to qualify for the charts in taking the 11th position. As the content becomes a consumer of space we divided it from our current NBA section which moved up one spot from 6th to 5th.

ARCHIVES

Given the Olympics are in session we will pay tribute to a story that we published for the 2004 Olympics in Greece. The shocker was 16-year-old Cambodian school girl Sou Tit Linda competing in the games. For a poor young Cambodian girl to be given a chance to compete and experience another country for the first time in her life while being among the influence of top International athletes was the focus of the story. Of note Sou Tit also competed in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.

Another Cambodia sports Archive story is our second choice is on the nations all time best football player Hok Sochetra. This outstanding athlete took to the game naturally and dominated games with his accuracy and power. He was the team.

Corruption and the lack of government support in paying and feeding the team properly enough to make them strong enough to compete over 90 minutes led to the team's struggles and losing record. The football federation failed to obtain friendly games so the team could improve. Sochetra went through the hard times but toughed it out.

He married and had a child and sue to the lack of a livable salary took a job with a private telecom company becoming a player manager of the company team. Since that time he gained FIFA management credentials and was named Cambodia's national team manager earlier this month.

TOP 3 FROM OTHER SOURCES

Something new of not this month is we will report the top three stories that are not National Radio generated. The top story was the NBA preseason exhibition game to be played in MEXICO. That was followed by the NBA preseason exhibition game to be played in the CHINA GAMES in China. The Ringo Starr and his All-star band tour ranks third.

TV - VIDEO BEAT EXTRA Part 1 - AMERICAN IDOL'S ABORTION - July 2012
THE BIAS JUDGING HAD TO GO - In their first season together it started out with good chemistry. They all seemed to get along and the chemistry and respect for each other worked. As time went by Jackson asserted himself into Cowell's lead role and started calling out the names of the judge next to critique i.e. what about you Jennifer or Steven. By the second half of this past season (their second together) you could see the disenchanted look on Tyler's face particularly following one of Jackson's long critiques and self promotions.
