AMERICAN IDOL DOMINATES CHARTS

The NR Top 10 is in keeping with the times as our stories on the transfer issue Transfer This published in January 2009 involving KaKa and Cristiano Ronaldo continue to maintain a strong readership. As this past weeks news with both KAKA and Ronaldo signing with Real Madrid the attention was warranted.

Our top story was about how Manchester United was Messie'd Up in the Championship Finals by Barcelona's Lionel Messi. Our NBA Playoff Review took the second spot. This story was our second fastest mover. Out fastest mover ranked number eight a TV review which asked the question is the American Idol voting a rip off? After that story there was a controversy of ballot stuffing by SMS to which the American Idol powers that be denied there were any improprieties.

The 2008 Year In Review Part 2 maintained its hold on the fourth spot. Part 2 covered the second quarter of the year.

Interest in American idol and the Bikini Girl Katrina Darrell aroused some interest as two of our American idol reviews involving the Bikini lady made it in the Top 10 ratings including one taking the third position.

The Amazing Race Final took the sixth position and David Beckham made his presence known when he said Later To The Galaxy and opted to join A.C. Milan to enhance his chances of being chosen for the England nation team by manager Fabio Capello.

Last but not least American Idol judge Paula Abdul raised some eyebrows when she critiqued a blind contestant to move around the stage, open up and perform more. Obviously Abdul is oblivious to the fact that sight challenged individuals have a problem seeing where they are going and her suggestion qualifies for Abdul Lost The Plot or NO SENSE IS NONSENSE.

Sports and Soccer maintained their top two spots in the sections most visited category. The fastest mover was the NBA section which moved from the 9th spot to third. American Idol slipped from 3rd to 4th but the remainder of the charts remained pretty much the same with one exception. Internet Technology lost its 10th spot to NBA Max which is our archive coverage of the NBA during the Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson era. Those stories are in the French language.

In the business and entertainment news which didn't qualify for the op 10 but received a number of views were FOX DEALS with UEFA Champions League gained the most interest followed by the news of the GE Rolls-Royce Fighter Engine Team's first complete new-build F136 engine. The Entertainment news featured Public Television February 2009 Performers which included Alanis Morissette.
