Video Beat Part 2 - PIA TOSCANO ELIMINATED AFTER TAKING THE JUDGES ADVICE

It is one of the three most shocking decisions in American Idol history that rank with Jennifer Hudson being eliminated at # 7 in season 3 and Adam Lambert not winning the title in season 8. This predicament came to fruition after our previous prophecy regarding wasting a save on Casey Abrams. We noted then that it was a bad save and what will happen when a singer with a better voice that deserves to be saved can't because the judges foolishly used the save up on a talented individual but doesn't have a good voice - AMERICAN IDOL'S JAILER SIMON FULLER - Recommended TV Listings

Friday April 08, 2011

THE JUDGES MADE THE WRONG SAVE

Week after week the American Idol judges praised Pia Toscano for her excellent vocals. They also requested to her to sing something other than a ballad. This week she did and sang an up-tempo song Ike and Tina turner's "River Deep - Mountain High." The result was the judges praised her performance and for the first time American voted her into the bottom 3. The added salt to her wounds was she was eliminated. It is one of the three most shocking decisions that rank with Jennifer Hudson being eliminated at # 7 in season 3 and Adam Lambert not winning the title in season 8.

As the cameras panned the judges Randy Jackson had his head in his hands and then exclaimed OH NO!!! Stefano Langone who also was in the bottom three and was the last man standing of the bottom club along with Jacob Lusk who was saved, had a stunned look on is face. It was a look of disbelief as he is a Top 13 wild card survivor as well as having been in the bottom 3 twice before.

Toscano had a shocked look on her face but maintained her composure until the very end of the show when she sang for the last time on Idol. Lauren Alaina was in tears from the time Ryan Seacrest announced that Toscano was eliminated. Of the five eliminated from the Top 13 ALL HAVE BEEN FEMALE.

Judge Jennifer Lopez was stunned and said, " "I have no idea what just happened here. I'm shocked, I'm angry, I don't know what to say."

Jackson added, "You're one of the best singers here. This makes me mad."

Judge Steven Tyler noted about the voting public, "Lack of passion is unforgivable."

This predicament came to fruition after our previous prophecy regarding wasting a save on Casey Abrams. We noted that it was a bad save and what will happen when a singer with a better voice that deserves to be saved can't because the judges foolishly used the save up on a talented individual but doesn't have a good voice.

There is no way anyone can say that Abrams voice is better than Toscano. If you believe that I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you.

Pia Toscano (born October 14, 1988) is from Howard Beach, New York and 22 years old during the show. During her Idol journey she auditioned in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was a make-up artist. She sang the national anthem at a Mets game. She sang with Karen Rodriguez get together to duet The Beatles' "Can't Buy Me Love" on Las Vegas, they also went to New York's LaGuardia Arts School together. She also performed Bruno Mars's "Grenade" for the group round in Hollywood and Alicia Keys's "Doesn't Mean Anything" for her final solo. Toscano was eliminated on April 7, 2011 ending in 9th place.

Lusk was another surprising selection for the bottom 3 BUT he made a major mistake. Prior to his sing Michael Jackson's 'Man In The Mirror' the video lead in to his performance he said to the American public if he was in the bottom three it wouldn't be because he made a bad performance but because, "America couldn't look at themselves in the mirror." A statement like that breeds arrogance, overconfidence and can alienate viewers. Obviously it did as his performance was excellent and we rated the best of the night.

The fault that Toscano is off the show is not of the American's voters it's that of the American Idol Judge who made a major mistake wasting the save on a lesser talent singer. END OF STORY
