JIMMY IOVINE ADMITS TO MAKING A BAD SONG CHOICE FOR LEDET

We were prophetic when we forecast that one of the two minorities in American Idol's Top 3 Jessica Sanchez of Joshua Ledet would be eliminated this week despite having superior voices to the shows overblown favorite Phillip Phillips. Prior to the performance show this week the Fox Networks Asian outlet Star World was airing a one minute promotion only with Phillips declaring him as being the DARK HORSE although he was the only contestant that was never in the bottom 3 or 2 ALL SEASON. THE RED FLAGS CONTINUES TO RISE that something was wrong with this picture.

They also aired another promotion of Phillips declaring that he was THE DARK HORSE but included a brief insert of Ledet and commented on the high notes that he could sing followed by Sanchez and how good her voice was.

Our rationale was that two minorities in the final would not be tolerated by the PTB's (powers that be) the network, the shows producers and sponsors feeling that two minorities would be BAD FOR TV RATINGS. The fact that Sanchez and Phillips's voices are superior matters not as Idol is a now popularity, Twitter driven contest and a talent is a non factor. The Ruben Studdard days are over.

As we previously stated there NEVER WAS and NEVER WILL be TWO MINORITIES in the FINALS of the show that Elton John deemed as being RACIST. Our prophecy came to fruition.

The results are in and the sacrificial lamb is Joshua Ledet who was led to slaughter and his blood drained and drank after the judges and in house mentor gave him bad songs to sing that they chose. The slaughter was carefully executed by the judges and Iovine in giving the shows over promoted and tolerated Phillips songs that cast him in a good light of the public's eye.

The Top 3 episode appeared to be scripted to be the assassination of Ledet. The red flag jumped up when the judges and their spokesperson Randy Jackson were first to set Ledet up in choosing an old Etta James song "I'd Rather Go Blind".

James was a blues/soul singer who was popular in the 50's before Jennifer Lopez and host Ryan Seacrest were BORN! The judges praised his performance buy Iovine wasn't as pleased as he commented on their song choice that it, "Did nothing to show where Joshua could go (career direction).

In all seasons including this one there has been an emphasis in recommending that contestants not to do songs that the public can't relate to or aren't familiar with yet the judges did just that in choosing their song for Ledet.

"We fed you what we knew you would bring back to us," said boy toy playing judge Jennifer Lopez after his performance. "We knew what you would bring back to us… and you did," she added with a glowing smile.

The second poison pill was delivered by Iovine who admitted that he made bad decision in choosing the wrong songs for Ledet and Sanchez but his choice for Philiips in his opinion, "WON THE NIGHT!" It raises the question were his mistakes on purpose designed to set Ledet up and send Phillips through to the final.

Of his poor choice for Ledet "No More Drama" by Mary J. Blige Iovine said, "Something was missing and I know it was the material. I gave him the WRONG SONG. There was not enough melody and he needs melody. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY."

Taking responsibility or not Ledet is eliminated and will not be in the final. Ledet was set up and stuffed like a Christmas turkey to be devoured by the supposedly viewing public that the judges and Iovine knew would be turned off by having to listen to an old song by a singing legend that the majority of the viewers particularly those that vote are too young to know and could care less because they were alive at the time of James' popularity.

Ledet the son of a preacher man took it all in stride as the blood was drained from his veins to be drank by the judges that appear to perceive themselves as the Caesar's of the Roman Empire that fed a Christians to the lions.

As we have stated previously the shows outcome is predetermined by the PTB's of who they feel what contestants would attract the most viewers and be attention-grabbing to drive up interest to tune into the program. We are not of the opinion that voters have anything to do with the results and that the shows intention is only to create that illusion.

When one takes the position of not being a fan of the show or a lapdog that consumes the propaganda but assumes the role of a watchdog that scrutinizes body language, facial expressions and the substance of the words spoken by the shows cast and producers it reveals a different picture than the intended perception.

This season Idol has turned into a series of contradictions that went against previous advice given to contestants of all Idol seasons of Don'ts. DON'T sing Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston or old songs that the public can't identify with.

The contradictions were enormous as the judges praised Phillips for being himself even after he failed to sing the melody of a song all season as they requested until this week. In contradiction to the critiques of others they credited him with sticking to being himself and making a song HIS OWN.

Judge Steven Tyler went off the charts with his claim that Phillips could be the next Bruce Springsteen. This season it was sell job all the way for Phillips in contrast to a put them in their place attitude for all others. They carried out their mission in stealth like manner by praising many but were devious with their true intentions as the season played out proved.

The powers that be got what they wanted as Ledet bit the dust and is out of the final. That permitted Lopez's heart throb contestant Phillips to compete against Sanchez in the final next week that will be televised a day earlier (Tuesday & Wednesday in the USA and Wednesday and Thursday in Asia).

* Phillip Phillips (born September 20, 1990) is from Leesburg, Georgia. He attended Lee County High School. He graduated Albany Technical College, but had to miss the graduation ceremony due to being on American Idol. He auditioned in North Charleston, singing "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" with the guitar. He performed "I Only Have Eyes For You" with Heejun Han, Neco Starr, and Jairon Jackson. Many people have compared his vocal style to that of Dave Matthews, whom he has also noted as an influence. As of April 19, 2012, he is the only contestant this season to not have been in the Bottom 3 yet.

* Jessica Sanchez (born August 4, 1995 is a Filipino-Mexican-American from San Diego, California. She was born in Chula Vista, California. Her father Gilbert Sanchez is a Mexican-American U.S. Navy veteran and originally from Texas and fought in the War in Iraq. Her mother Editha Sanchez is Filipina and originally from Bataan province in the Philippines. Sanchez auditioned in San Diego. She performed "It Doesn't Matter Anymore" with DeAndre Brackensick and Candice Glover in Las Vegas. During the Sing For Your Life green mile round, Sanchez performed "The Prayer" by Andrea Boccelli. Before Idol, she was known for her appearance on the first season of America's Got Talent where she was brought back by judge Brandy during the show's wildcard round. Sanchez also participated in the YouTube edition of "We Are the World" along with 56 other YouTube artists, including American Idol season 10 finalist Thia Megia. She was saved from elimination by the judges after receiving the lowest number of votes in the top seven round, making her the first female contestant to be saved by the judges.
