IT'S ON 4 AMERICAN IDOL'S TOP 3

Lauren Alaina, Scott McCreery and Haley Reinhart are American Idol's Top 3 finalists. From the start McCreery stood out as having one of the best voices on the show. Early on Reinhart has been a frequent visitor in the Bottom 3 being selected four times in nine weeks since the Top 13 competition began. Alaina was at the bottom once two weeks ago in the Top 5 competition when Jacob Lusk was eliminated she was relegated to the Bottom 2.

Win or not McCreery has a quality voice worthy of a top notch hit country music career. His personality is manageable although he did clash with guest mentor Don Was who suggested McCreery drop a verse of a song McCreery wanted to sing noting that another verse would be stronger.

McCreery stood by his guns and insisted in doing it his way since the lyric mentioned something that related to his grandmother who was going to be in the audience on performance night. In his stance McCreery 17 showed that he can be managed but will have a voice on some creative decisions which is a plus for him. He has never been in the Bottom 3 or 2 which indicates strong fan support.

Lauren Alaina has been consistent but has been criticized by in-house mentor jimmy Iovine for her lack of self confidence. Being only 16 she's doing a great job with her performances and adapting to criticism. Her voice is great and she could win the title which would make her the youngest American idol winner ever.

When it comes to adapting to negative criticism and situations Reinhart's experience in being in the Bottom 3 so many times but surviving shows her resilience and strength. This is an attribute that is needed to survive in the entertainment business. Reinhart is pretty with a good but not spectacular voice. Her other problem is her talent and musical direction as to what style of singer she is fails to be clearly defined.

All are talented but McCreery is the closest to being a finished product to be a recording star. Alaina rates second in that department. Her country style voice is better than former Idol winner Carrie Underwood. Who will win? Stay tuned...

THE SIMON'S (COWELL & FULLER) IT'S ABOUT THE MONEY

When we became aware that former Idol judge Simon Cowell was being paid $100 million a year to be a judge on the show we were appalled. How could anyone bee so foolish to pay someone so arrogant and rude that kind of money to insult people and destroy their self esteem in front of a viewing audience of millions of people around the world? Many of the Idol contestants are young and have yet to mature.

The other side of that coin is Idol's creator Simon Fuller is then man in charge of the show thus he is guilty of permitting Cowell's attacks on young performers. Now it comes to light that both are on the British music's rich list. Cowell is ranked 6th with his fortune being $300 million. He moved up in the rankings from his 11th position last year. During that time his fortune increased $58 million since 2010. Fuller tops him in holding down the 5th position with his fortune worth $618 million. Does this indicate the revenge of the Boston Tea Party?
