MICHAEL JORDAN & KOBE BRYANT # 1

This month an old NBA controversy topped the charts regarding who is the best Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. The story rushed to the top within 48 hours of release. Without saying both are great and played against each other in an overlapped era when Jordan was in his twilight years and Kobe was cutting his teeth in the NBA.

Much of the dispute is more related to the allegiance a fan has with a team. From an unbiased standpoint you can compare their stats but it is their behaviors that separate them. Over the years we have reported stories that reflect each of their personal behaviors. having interviewed both we have an opinion as does the man that really knows them their former coach Phil Jackson who guided the two in winning his 11 NBA championships as coach including 6 with Jordan and the Chicago Bulls and 5 with Bryant and the Lakers. So what's the difference? Read our story and you be the judge.

With Edward Snowden currently being crucified by the US government because he exposed their International and domestic spy crimes the right of an individual's privacy has taken center stage this month. His experience exposes how the government is an expert in the art of deflection branding him a traitor and ignoring the real issue that the US Gov is committing International crimes and were caught with their pants down. This is not a topic that we have covered but are keeping a watchful eye on its development.

Related to human rights one story that dominated the charts is the plight and death of Israel's Prisoner X. X is an Australian citizen that fell in disfavor with Israel's Mossad when he was with the organization following his move to Israel and becoming an Israeli citizen. He went afoul when he botched a project. He was jailed in a suicide proof cell and contact with him was not permitted. He was later found dead as the Mossad says from a suicide (go figure in a suicide proof cell).

As in many US and Israel governments' cases they are not reported by the main stream media they control and pushed under the rug. We picked up on the story after it was televised on the Australian Network. They were threatened by a former Mossad boss not to do the story. He bragged that the Mossad knew everybody and everything. That failed to deter the Australian media who have made follow-up reports since being warned.

What their experiences reveal is the US and Israeli governments apparently function in conducting their business as do what I say and not as I do. Of course this is translated as being democratic but the International public and governments are under US surveillance.

X is a human being that has suffered a mysterious death without a clear explanation. That is a violation of human rights and why we became interested in the subject. Our three-part story notched three of the NR Top 10 spots. Who was Israel's Prisoner X? Read the stories and find out.

The X columns are Point Of View (POV) columns which charted four of the Top 10 positions. Our POV column that has an insight on CNN'S raging terror reporter (?) Wolf Blitzer is the lone holdover from last month but dropped from the top spot to 9th.

Television reviews charted in four of the Top 10 spots with the focus heavily on The Voice; CNN being the CIA'S mouthpiece, Asia's Apprentice hosted by Tony Fernandes the founder of Air Asia and owner of the recently demoted former English Premier League side the Queens Park Rangers.

A story that has maintained a strong interest for several months is Cambodia's mobile telecom industry and the shady way business done. The story is titled MISINFORMATION REIGNS IN ROCKY ROAD MOBITEL TAKEOVER. The competition in the mobile telecom sector has resulted in companies fleeing the market due to the lack of QUALITY subscribers thus putting in place less competition and the escalation of charges and decrease in the value of service. With fewer players the remaining companies are calling more shots in taking advantage of the customer.

SECTIONS MOST VISITED

The Archives section has returned to out Sections Most Visited. As we recall it only made the charts one other time. We have been receiving some inquiries regarding Angkor Wat. At the time that we visited in 1999 and then did the story in 2001 the temples were hardly visited. When we did our research on the subject there was only one reference to it that being from Yale University. Now it is thriving and we will take the credit for being the first to make a commercial report on what we consider one of the wonders of the world.

CNN returns to the charts as did BIZ WHO IS. BIZ WHO IS charts as an on and off again occurrence. What drives this column is not clear although some of the major players in the business and entertainment industries stories are told. If it's the start of MTV you're wondering about we have it in BIZ WHO IS.

ARCHIVES

When it comes to deflection nobody does it better than former US Vice President tricky Dick Chaney. With Snowden in the news the main stream media and CNN were chomping at the bit to get a good sound bite from the grumpy old man. He gave them what they wanted by branding Snowden a traitor.

With that said those of us in the know are aware that tricky Dick was bailed out by US government officials when he allegedly committed crimes in Nigeria. The price was a cool $250 million. The fine was in a plea bargain with the Nigerian court system. The charges stemmed from Cheney's association with Halliburton a company that benefits from revenue generated from wars. The story was not reported in the USA by their main stream media. We picked up on it after the Guardian covered the event.

In honor of tricky Dick Cheney we are listing that story as an Archive story of the month. His role in the deaths of American soldiers is deemed heroic as making war toys creates jobs (acerbic). Agree or not?

Given the NBA season has come to a close we pay tribute to the Los Angeles Lakers who are involved in another turmoil situation with Dwight Howard being in no happy land and wants out. This is a repetitious occurrence in Hollyweird for the Lakers as we reported in 1999 when our Lakers LAKERS DIE(ed)-NASTY story was a hot topic. It relates to the adage that history repeats itself.

TOP PRESS RELEASES

Former US vice President candidate Sarah Palin top the most read charts with Fox News announcing that she will return to Fox News as a contributor.

Bob Pittman the first President of MTV returns to the charts in his role as the boss of Clear Channel radio. Pittman made noise with his revenue sharing agreement with the English band Fleetwood Mac. That story is our 2nd most read press release.

China information notched two spots with Time Warner and China Media Capital and the release that Starwood Hotels & Resorts Continues to Expand Its Lead in China.

A holdover is Use of Personal Data on Internet is 'Out of Control' which reflects the concern of NSA spying on citizens around the world with the assiatance of Facebook, Google, Yahoo and other social networking and email businesses.

CENSORED OR NOT? - The cause of Ben Zygier's death has been the matter of some speculation but CNN ignored doing any coverage. POV - (Point of View) - CNN & ISRAEL'S SECRET - PRISONER X - Part 1 - June, 2013
CNN HIDES BEHIND THE TRUTH - CNN selectively hides stories that conflict with their political interests and business associations. Although news is supposed to be unbiased that is not the case with CNN. Is there any wonder why they are not being investigated regarding from where and who their information sources are? Why are the Associated Press (AP) and Fox News being investigated and not CNN? Is there something wrong with this picture? Why didn't CNN report on Israel's secret... PRISONER X?

POV - (Point of View) - THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH of ISRAEL'S PRISONER X - Part 2 - June, 2013
A theory was aired in Australian media, which alleged that Zygier may have been about to "blow the whistle" on Israeli intelligence operations involving the use of forged Australian passports, and was about to reveal the information either to the Australian government or to the media before he was arrested. An Australian security official was quoted as saying that Zygier "may well have been about to blow the whistle, but he never got the chance"
