IDOLS'S DYNAMIC DUO ROCKS THE WORLD

We got it right when we selected American Idol contestants Scott McCreery and Lauren Alaina as being one two finishers for the Idol title. We got it right when we predicted that both will have great recording careers. Both were worthy of winning and both will have great recording artist careers.

Within 48 hours of the Idol finale in which McCreery sang "I Love You This Big" chosen by Idol's in-house mentor Jimmy Iovine to launch his recording career it rocketed the up the iTunes charts to the # 1 position. Alaina's "Like My Mother Does" which she also sang on the finale show took the 3rd iTunes spot. The finale show increased the programs ratings 21%.

After McCreery won the title Alaina was a guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. On the program she showed her poise, savvy and maturity. Also a guest on that show was talk show host Piers Morgan. Morgan is also a judge on the TV talent show America's Got Talent. Morgan complimented Alaina on her talent and said that he thought that her voice was better than McCreery's.

Alaina soaked in the compliment paused and then reflected for a bit. She then informed Morgan that she failed to qualify for the America's Got Talent (AGT) noting that she couldn't get past the initial interview.

A stunned Morgan was embarrassed. He then gathered himself by deflecting and saying jokingly how high the standards must be for the AGT program.

The arrogant Morgan has a very high opinion of himself. CNN replaced long time talk show host Larry King with Morgan. It is rumored that with disappointing ratings and negative TV critiques of the program that CNN is now considering canceling his show.

The snobbish Englishman is full of himself continually bragging of his English royal family connections and his former experience of being the editor of a tabloid newspaper. He repeatedly espouses how great the English are while in a stealth like manner degrades Americans. Go figure.

MORE IDOL

McCreery showed his professional talent potential when he sang on the finale show "Live Like You Were Dying" with Tim McGraw. McCreery's voice was strong and top quality. The difference was McGraw's experience and the ease o stage that he has performing. For the 17-year-old McCreery that will come as he is a major talent.

LEE De WYZE DISSED

Many fans of season nine winner, Lee DeWyze, were upset that he did not take part in the season ten finale like he was rumored to. Executive producer Nigel Lythgoe responded on his twitter that he asked DeWyze to take part in the final episode but he declined, "I was so upset Lee DeWyze wouldn't present the winners trophy to Scotty, he wrote. "Especially as he'd been on the show this Season. I guess he was shy."

However, DeWyze said that he was actually not asked to take part in the finale. "Just for the record… I was not asked to be involved in the Finale. It wasn't until about 2 minutes before they announced that Nigel had approached me and asked if he could "borrow" me for a second. I didn't feel a last second jump on stage was appropriate. It was Scotty's moment. I appreciate American Idol, and the opportunity it has given me. And the people who have made that show possible. I am not angry, or bitter etc. It was an amazing Finale, and I would have loved to be a part of it. I just wasn'tasked."
